That was just Tavis. Dr. West hooked up with Tavis around 2011 or so with that Poverty tour or something like that.

He has come out in support of Bernie Sanders. And I remember him supporting Ralph Nader (lol) in the 2000 and 2004 elections.

I guess he saw the craziness Tavis was doing and he couldn't be left out. IMO, him and Tavis are crazy bi-polar men who spends most of their time trying to have intellectual debates with no sense of reality or common sense.

I think your mom like the emotional drama CNN presents, especially Don Lemon when he is on. IMO, MSNBC is the best in putting together in-depth investigative journalism.

CNN is like watching paint dry. I left them when Piers Morgan came on air. I went back and started watching c-span

IMO, MSNBC gave Al Sharpton a show for comic relief. Although she tries her best to look like one of the fellows, I still like Rachel Maddow investigative reporting. She does a real good job in fact finding and exposing stuff.

She really tries her best to not look like the typical airhead White female.

Maddow was one of my faves. She had an agenda but she used facts to push that agenda. I can respect that.

IMO, she's not just some talking head. She does a THOROUGH job on in-depth research in finding the facts. Some of her reporting is very informative.

Actually she can't stand Don Lemon. She has one TV on MCNBC and the other on CNN. She has a new flat screen and had figured out how to put it on split screen. SMH....LOL....but hey she's 74 she can do what she wants. LOL...when I run by I ask her "Momma you feeling the Bern!!!"

She's not a dummy. She did her dissertation on something dealing with HIV and prisons.
