As for the band? Please. LOUD doesn't equate quality brah. I've been privy to listening to an uncle play and tour w/ The Stylistics, The Whispers, and Kool & The Gang. I know what quality sounds like and LOUD doesn't equate quality. You all will listen to a QUALITY band when The Storm plays. :D I'll bet y'all are the ghetto types who think gorillas in the trunk rattling shat is quality over an impeccable Infinity crystal-clear sound system in an auto-mo. The Entire nation wants to hear the Jukebox and see our Dolls. Ask Beyonce. LOL. We got cred. Yall don't. So I aint even going to get into a band debate. Jukebox always has and always will be greater than anything coming out of Texas. I don't even think them kids get hyped playing the SWAC schools West of the MS.

As for the football game. We coming down there and kicking over grills (Thanks Get Ready) and taking over that mofo. This will be the payback for making us play in those HS stadiums including the old Blackshear all these years. The takeover is real. Head our warning. Should have never let you mofos win anything. Gone to yall head. No worries. SU going to be some headbussas this year.

Don't get it twisted. JSU is still hated by the majority of Jags. But them PV mofos done got uppity. Too many lines have been crossed family wise too with some younger generation PV alums being kids of Jag alums. We allowed this foolishness to take place. Time for the Jaguar Nation to rise up again against these Texas folks. Houston is the largest alumni chapter of Jags outside of the state of LA. So the fact that we have OWNED that area for so long bred contempt by the PV folks. Got a few winning seasons and some good wins over a retiring Pete, a clueless Stump and got Worm this last season. He still 2-1 against them. But they got their chest poked out trying to find a rival. Grambling don't give them the time of day and they try to make SU think that they are a rival like a JSU or Gram. So while Hughes needs to step up. Us Jags just need to slap everybody's used to be slump hoe (Thanks Mike Bigg again) in PV around to shut this up once and for all. They better be watching their supposed to be rival in TxSU and stop worrying about how bad we going to do them. Their season might just end Labor Day weekend. ~snicker~

Man, you already know most Houston folks have LA ties. LOL. Ask Band Fan and C-Leb were they people from. Has nothing to do with SU.
The other piece is that a TON of your Houston High School grads come to SU to get educated and then head back home. I don't know why it is such a big deal about who moved where. LOL. When most of the black folks educated or not, came from LA to Houston.

Houston has so much South La flavor it aint even funny. White folks and Black folks. One could say Houston is LA West. I know we call it SU West.

The majority of LA natives that graduate SU stay in Louisiana, hence our largest alumni chapters being in LA. So the myth that the majority move to Texas is not true. We Nationwide.

Both of my parents are from southern Louisiana as well but that ain't the same thing as SU allegedly "owning" Houston. That's about as crazy as when LSU folks claim they own Houston...LOL. Makes no sense.
