I agree. This is the damn Superbowl you go all out!!!! Hell Doug Williams' knee is still fucked up but he will forever be remembered as a MVP!!!!!

I do agree with this though. There was another play in which Cam threw the ball and was wrapped up and slung to the ground. No call.

If that would have been Brady, the flag would have been out before he hit the ground. Cam and Big Ben probably get the least of these calls because of their size.

Still doesn't excuse the overthrows and not diving for that fumble

There is a life lesson for every person who watched the Super Bowl. We get various comments based on our own life experiences. At Cam's level even some of those people he looked up to said some things that was confusing. Even when we get a good job, your supporters will congratulate you and be your biggest critics. Then you become confused and must learn to grow. If you cannot find someone who you can bounce things off, you will be a failure. One observation I noticed in the game is that when a Carolina player tried to stop a Denver player from signaled a first down, he was immediately flagged without warning. I had to wonder if players had been warned on how to behave which would have been a disadvantage to Carolina. But my main point is what did you learned from the game. I said from the beginning this was Payton's show. Did anyone see the Referee skinning and grinning with Payon on the sideline? Some things affect people in different ways, but Dinver had to play to win and did not let up.

What about when Talib got the PF for taunting? That should have been let go.

Whoa cowboy....that hit on the sideline was legal. Cam wasn't trying to go out of bounds and actually pumped fake in an effort to freeze the corner despite being past the line of scrimmage.

Carolina just couldn't block Denver's pass rushers. Those Offensive Tackles had a few false start penalties against them.
 



Newton also defended himself for not diving to try to recover his fumble in the fourth quarter that eventually was recovered by the Broncos. Denver went on to score a touchdown to put the game out of reach.

He said that he would have risked injury by diving as it would have meant he would have had to twist his leg in an awkward direction.

Newton said that if he had thrown an interception and not tried to make the tackle to avoid an injury he likely would have not heard any complaints.
 
Y'all are missing the fact that the Carolina Panthers were cursed from Steven a smith picking them to win. Anyone that gets picks by Steven a smith loses lol... Carry on though.
