Of all time???

Even way back in the day, Grambling had a great program. So did Valley.

So, of all time:
Grambling
TX Southern
Alcorn
Jackson State
Southern
 
Who ever did this did not do their homework. How do you leave off Bennie Swain and Kevin Granger and not mention Robert Moreland and the NAIA Championship in '77? I can appreciate the effort but it leaves a lot to be desired.

It's one of those "you can go either way" type arguments and not too many people would have an uproar. Grambling won a NAIA national title with Willis Reed and was great during the 60s when the NAIA was good but they've never been to the NCAA tournament since being D1. Valley is only behind a few schools with 5 Big Dance bids.
 
I can certainly agree with Alcorn being in the Top 5. My momma graduated AM&N in 1966; she'll be 72 in November and she still talks about those beatings from Alcorn!

Actually he was drafted in the second round by the Pacers in the 77 draft but played for the Rockets but you're dealing with someone who is so biased that he still thinks Malcolm Riley punched his own self in the face to cause the gash over his eye just to get a foul.
