Alcorn player punched


This is bad, reallllll bad. Especially after that band hazing video got out about the S.O.D. This in house news needs to stay in house. Black colleges already look bad, but this makes it seems like we have no control over our programs too.
 



Smh.... you guys are acting ignorant. We know this type of thing happens, but for it to hit the news stations is BADDDDDD. And then the kid is from FL, so how could this affect the recruitment in this area or even FL for Hopson? Oh well, if Alcorn is happy, then I'm good.
 
No...No....No....As a Head Coach, it is your responsibility to make sure your players are disciplined and not acting a fool toward other players. From what it appears, Hopson has not done that at this point regarding this situation.

If it was me, I would get the details first. But internally before any details are gathered, the player who hit the young man should be kicked off the team, Scholarship Pulled and All. Violence amongst teammates outside of practice, strength and conditioning, is unacceptable. I would have to get the details on the player who suffered the hit but for sure the one who hit the young man is kicked off in my book.

And another things HBCUs, I'm tired of all this mental and physical hazing shit. I really am. It's Band, it's Greeks (Don't try to lie either), Cheerleader Squad, even the Choir in some instances. I hope this wasn't no damn Foot Phi Bullshit Alcorn used to have when I was there. I'm sick tired of this hazing going on. To me, hazing in any form is just stupid. Wake Up Black People.
 



I'm going to make a sad prediction about all this underground hazing going on at our HBCUs:

One of these days, these Band, Greeks, Football Players, whoever are going to mentally and/or physically haze the wrong student. This student WILL NOT go to their parents but "Take Matters Into Their Own Hands". This same Student will come back with a gun and kill everybody in sight they can until they are either 1. killed themselves or 2. Arrested. STOP UNDERGROUND HAZING. If HBCUs don't and continue to let this culture thrive, many people will be killed or injured by a mass gunmen. You can dismiss me all you want...but I know what I know.

Bullying and Hazing are one in the same. But I'm going let people like you continue the Underground Hazing Culture at our HBCUs. Go Ahead, Keep it Up.

But when there is an increase of mass shootings/murders on our campuses don't say I didn't warn you.

Again what type of drugs are you taking? You're the only crazy mofo on here talking this crazy shit. Have you checked on Howard campus to see if there was an underground mafia there?
 
Seems like he got punched(or pushed back) because he pushed the guy off him first....The punch didn't seem too hostile.....
