Please correct me if i'm wrong, didn't the NCAA College Basketball game have have TSU (I'm not sure what type of songs other SWAC schools played) band playing songs like Talking Out The Side of Your Neck and In The Stone one year?

I go back to ncaa 2000 when the SWAC was first included and they had all of our stadiums in the game
When we went to PlayStation 2 they took out our stadiums
I think ncaa 2005 had the bands in there as I scored a td and neck came on...that was crazy

Is EA Sports bringing back NCAA Football? For the first time in two years, the world’s largest video game maker posted a message on its seemingly dormant NCAA Football Facebook FB +2.02% page, containing a short video of a heart monitor with the words, “Our heart still beats for the big game”.
The message of course alludes to tonight’s College Football Playoff National Championship game between Alabama and Clemson, but many are wondering why Electronic Arts EA +1.54% (EA) would even bother posting something on a social media page for a video game that was discontinued after litigation (O’Bannon v. NCAA) between former college athletes and the NCAA led to a $60 million settlement in the players favor. Although EA never explicitly used player names in its NCAA series, a judged rules that the accurate roster numbers and corresponding attributes were enough to insinuate that players likenesses were being exploited beyond fair use and without just compensation.
Thus far, EA has denied that they are planning on relaunching the game, but that could simply be posturing in anticipation of a much larger announcement. Of course, the real question people should be asking is what does EA need to do to bring back the game?

Not true...NBA 2K16 experimented with it this year and showed that you can have college teams and not use player likenesses.
Completely randomize the rosters and ensure that no player is identical to anybody on a real-life roster...it's something that EA Sports should've done(and TRIED to do on NCAA 14).

EA Sports football and basketball games are terrible...but I loved NCAA Football lol
2K Sports was not listed as one of the defendants in the lawsuit brought forth by Ed O'Bannon. EA Sports was and wasn't unable to get license trademarks from several conferences for any future college games as a result of the lawsuit. And they've been hesitant to develop any games because litigation from the lawsuit is still ongoing.
2K Sports was able to obtain a license to include those colleges in NBA 2K16. And there is nothing really stopping 2K from creating a college game
Technically...but I'm sure 2K sports has been paying close attention to that case and decided it was best to not even go that route. However, the addition of college teams in 2K16 is a positive sign, IMO.
If I remember correctly, some conferences and schools made their licensing unavailable.
Most of the major conferences like the SEC, Pac-12 and Big Ten declined trademark licenses to EA Sports because they didn't want to risk be involved in any litigation.
Individual schools, though, can provide trademark licenses, which is probably how those college teams were included in NBA 2K16.

HAD. They didn't come out with any new games for the same reason (that and most people thought the game was not good).
I would personally like to see it come back because it probably would be easier for them to make a HBCU game and possibly get clearance from the four major HBCU conferences than EA Sports getting clearance from the big boys which would then clear the way for the rest of the conferences

I would prefer EA Sports to do it as well (more exposure) but they incorporate some of the aspects of the HBCU game (would be live to hear Devil's Gun or Cherokee after every TD with the advancement in technology from when the game was last released)
