The swac needs Jsu and Su to support the swac because of their fan bases

The meac needs Famu and Bcu to support the them because of their fan bases.

Then you could easily get 65k

I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more, if only they knew they were slaves. Harriet Tubman

Finally!!!! Maybe the MEAC folks will come to their senses because one of their own coaches said it. "We're not financed at this stage to win a national championship through the playoffs."

Let some of them tell it he was the main one against it.

In the meantime N. Dakota St is about to with the 5th straight FCS title. Funded like a mid-major FBS school......

I had to explain that to a poster on the Onnidan board the other day.

It can't help but be a beat down. You have a FBS level school going up against an FCS level school

How is North Dakota State FBS?

Are freaking kidding me? Do you even have a clue as to what their athletic budget is? Have you actually ever seen that team in person?

That has nothing to do with FBS.

Right that's why they are going for their 5th championship in a row. Something NO NFL franchise has ever done, NO Alabama Crimson Tide team has ever done, NO Florida State Seminole team has ever done, NO Miami Hurricanes team has ever done, NO Florida Gator team has ever done.

All of whom has a budget fives times that of North Dakota. But there's one difference. They actually play among their peers and not pass themselves off as an FCS team to gullible fans.

I was disappointed by NCAT fan base being that we had noticeably more fans than them. They had a whole month to prepare for this trip. Compared to Alcorn who had 2 weeks. They had had a shorter distance to travel as well being they were 5 hours away compared to our 7.5 hours.

We've said all along that their fan base doesn't travel well.

We did better than I thought we would. If we make it back to the game next year, more of us Aggies will show up. Much of our Alumni Base is in Virginia and DC.

They (MEAC) might show up next year now that it was a "success." There was so much discard for this game from a majority of them in the MEAC Forum calling the game the Chitterlings Bowl, Segregation Bowl, c**n Bowl and every derogatory name in the dictionary. Now, after a win and hearing Broadway tell them that NO ONE in the MEAC is resourced to compete for a FCS Championship, they are coming to their senses that ALL HBCU's are under resourced, not just the SWAC. Most are calling for Dr. Thomas head and talking about buying him out for Selling them out for giving up their AQ to play this game and that the SWAC forced them to do it by getting in bed with ESPN and requesting the Champion play.

Some of those clowns from that MEAC forum do not represent the majority of what the MEAC fan base truly feels.
If that's the case more of them would have shown up for their first round playoff games before this "dreaded" bowl game even came to fruition.

True -

You gotta stop letting what a minority post on these boards have you believe it's a majority opinion. Most of us Aggies, especially older are a "wine &a cheese" crowd. Now my young alumni peers are a little more excited but we are closer to the Hampton/Howard side of things rather than the FAMU/SWAC side.

If we get back next year, we won't be as subdued.

Trust me I know - I attended the game with several good Friends and Frats who are NCA&T Alumni and saw more at the game. Walked out the game with two retired Army Colonels from the DMV -(both joked that they thought that they would need more HBP pills during the final drive).

I was not surprised at A&T's turnout. The MEAC as a whole have been on a rampage to not attend this event. They hate everything about it. They chose not to support. Not that they couldn't.
