I think you are right, my son saw our #1 RB wearing an ankle boot at school, he might play but it won't be the same. The QB Jett Duffey is able to do his thing because the RB is so dangerous, without him being his normal self, Lake Ridge will have issues since our coaching isn't that good. Also if they figure out how soft the coach's son is at OLB they will run to that side all day, he will need #54 to cover for him this game
But the Walking boot could be for caution and to be on the safe side. I know professional athletes do it a lot and your major universities. However, George ranch wants to run the ball. I will be there checking it out.
