Ok, by your words of his agent shopping him around for every opening. And we just had an opening, then I can reasonably say that he applied for our HC job. That's for admitting that.

Now I wouldn't say no one wants Odums. You can't possibly know that. Aint like he is a sorry coach. Dude can recruit as well. There are programs that can do a lot worse than Odums. Some currently are. LOL. Just because you guys don't like Odums. You have to give him credit for what he has done at SU. Players like him too. Hell even Dabo Swinney is a Big Worm supporter and fan. That's his boy. So don't think Worm don't have no connections.

Odums even knows he got folks waiting for that job at SU. LOL. But he is a businessman. He knows SU is not going to pay 260K for a coach. So he will continue to shop himself. If Hopson can win at Alcorn with his salary being what it is. It is no need to pay a coach that kind of money. So if he can get another school to dish out that green for his services, then by all means.Have at it. But SU ain't doing it.

Don't know why he even bothered. JSU would never consider a SU coach even if his name was Saban. LOL. No SWAC coach had a shot at that job. Even Hopson didn't. So him not getting close to being considered is a no brainer. Somebody should have told him that.

I honestly don't know. He probably did. He applies for every year for some job that pays more money. LOL. So it would not shock me if he did.

Maybe...maybe not. It is great information when I obtain lists like these and publish it, but the down side (and this happens more than you guys realize) is that many coaches end having to deal with petty BS from the schools they coach for (not the fans) about possibly keeping their jobs simply because they applied for another one. A publisher of another HBCU site informed me that an assistant coach of a D2 HBCU was actually fired from his job when it was learned he had applied for a position with another school.

Remember we let Grant go at SU because he was acting like the Youngstown State job was so good to apply for. LOL. So I can only imagine if some schools get mad if a coach applies to another school when they think their coach already has a good job. Especially if it looks like a lateral move.

Again, most of SU fan base couldn't care less if he stays or go, just get us back to Htown

I been said the lower paid coaches often make most of their situation and produce more than what these prime high paying coaches do.
 
LSU athletics is a monster. They do not spend time trying to "ruin' any other athletic programs in Louisiana. That includes all the other FBS programs and the LA schools in The Southland. They just do not even worry about any of them.
