Texas High School Football Playoffs


Katy beat Cy Ranch
Manvel beat Clear Creek
North Shore beat Clear Springs
Dickinson beat Pearland
Houston Lamar beat Eisenhower

Looks Like we could have a rematch for the third straight year in the Regional Finals if Manvel and Katy both win their games this week. Katy has been Manvel's thorn in the side the past Two Years.
 



Unless Manvel (worthing, hisd, willowridge south) found big offensive linemen that game is over as last year Katy pushed them around

Manvel has speed but rolling out 200 pound tackles....

Katy will have little trouble. Might be a touchdown closer than last year.

Not correct, My son's school is still in it from the DFW area, Mansfield Lakeridge 5A coming to Houston next week, their whole district getting out at 10:30 am to make the game, my son has a basketball tournament in San Antonio we are going to try to catch the game on the way

I saw the team that LR will play. They're not big but they execute almost flawlessly. Esp w/ that bullriding country boy in the backfield lol. He's tougher than a copperheaded-rattlesnake.

I wonder if they are only talking about 5A and 6A teams, because Argyle is very much in the middle of DFW and they are in the finals for 4A. And yes, Mansfield is DFW. Celina is just north of Dallas and they made the finals too.

Right, I know about Lake Ridge. That's why I said Mansfield is part of the DFW area too. And this is like what, Lake Ridge's 4th or 5th year playing varsity ball? Props to that program for coming up so quickly.

Damn, and I also forgot that Frisco Lone Star (5A Div II) made the finals to.

On a side note: It will be interesting to see what will happen to the the Denton schools. They are opening up another high school in the fall. This will be the high school #4. And as a result, Denton Ryan will be moving down to 5A...which is scary.
