Is there a chance Alcorn's Hopson could leave for ULM?

Classic!

ULM????

That stadium is beyond horrendous (I know our seats are orange but at least it doesn't feel like a cheap flea market)!
We played them a few years back, it looks like they add 100-200 seats every other semester and buy the parts from a salvage yard because nothing matches.

They are the dump of the Sun Belt. Hell, the Sun Belt is a dump. Oh well.

Let's be honest, I do not see Hopson staying at Allkurn forever. This is a business. While I don't believe ULM is the most attractive place to coach, however, neither was Allkurn, and look what he has accomplished there.

I don't see him leaving just yet, but he will.

It wasn't likely to win at Alcorn either. Last time they won, they had a once in a generation QB(McNair).

It's not an apples to apples comparison. Alcorn is on a far more level playing field financially with its conference peers than ULM. ULM's athletic budget trails every other football playing school in the conference by at least $8 million. That's a massive gap at that funding level.

My source just told me Hopson is one of the three finalists, but he doesn't know whether he's interviewing today or tomorrow
It's good to interview just to keep your skills up sometimes. It's good just to see what type of question are being asked in the current job market. Nothing wrong with an interview, and it doesn't mean you are going anywhere. Sometimes interviews are used just to make contacts within an organization.

Question and maybe I'm the dumb one but how can Coach Hop be considered a finalists and he hasn't interviewed so says the article and everyone else. Someone said earlier that they plan to announce there new coach by the end of the week and someone else said Hopson hasn't been interviewed yet. So which is it?
