This list is from the schools that played the high powered division 1 schools that were televised earlier in the season. At the same time Jsu played Middle Tenn. Its not a ranking, just the bands that this person actually witnessed.Even though I'm a former boomer, Dnt no one go hollen bout where the boom. Because the boom field shows are not entertaining what so ever. I mean the last year or two, yea there drills are executed but not entertaining so I can see why we didn't make this particular list.

I know SU and Gram did a great job . Didn't hear the others. I like how gram slowed it down so the non traditional fans could try to get the concept of the songs. SU's Entergy was received well by Georgia.I was personally really proud of everyone on this list. They all represented very well during these games, looking and sounding good!!

You're right and Ga Tech fans also showed Sod a lot of love as well!I know SU and Gram did a great job . Didn't hear the others. I like how gram slowed it down so the non traditional fans could try to get the concept of the songs. SU's Entergy was received well by Georgia.
Seems like you might be a former boomer as well. Man the boom sounds good in the stands but if we can get some type of structure with our field shows we would be unstoppable. Our shows are crisp but lack the excitement ya know. It's smooth but no ENTERGY !!! Nothing to make non- band heads excited. But yea I'm glad these other hbcu showed up and showed out. One guy from UG said SU is the loudest band he has ever heard lol. You're right and Ga Tech fans also showed Sod a lot of love as well!
Boomer to the end lol! Sop!! They are hell in the stands but whats been going on with our field shows is mostly Dr Sanford. He's cut out a lot of dancing and Little really can't get the boom to where they should be because of him! Sanford doesn't like the swac style at all but the good part is he's due to retire this year so our director of bands will be a jsu grad and we can get back to our style. Little has charted some outstanding drills this year but other parts of the show have been lacking. Alumni have definitely taken notice and we are ready for Sanford to get the hell on!Seems like you might be a former boomer as well. If there wasn't a football game involved, I wouldn't pay $0.00 to see the bands on that list. Add BCU, JSU or Ohio State (not a HBCU) to that list and we can talk.
