At what age should cats stop wearing jerseys?

I should be able to wear whatever I want. I'm a grown and bought that jersey with grown man money. Granted, I haven't worn a jersey casually since I was in middle school or high school(got some attention from the ladies when I rocked an Iverson jersey in the 8th grade), but if I decided to wear one on my day off, regardless of how old I am, that's my business.

There are certain styles you leave in the past, but a jersey? Nah

If you wanna walk around wearing another man's identity on your back, go 'head my dear brother. Just remember Halloween is once a year.

Another man's identity? Have you ever heard the word "customize?"

that's like saying don't wear a Ralph Lauren or Stacey Adams...you are wearing their identity on your back after all

Just because you feel uncomfortable doesn't mean everybody else has to.

Wearing clothes or shoes designed by someone is different than wearing someone else's work clothes with their name on it.

Like FaceBook this forum needs a "dislike" button!
You act like people go and actually take the clothes they wore that gameday and put them on. And yeah there are some nasty people out there who would actually do that, but we are talking about a team jersey to represent the football, baseball, basketball team and your favorite player.
And like someone else said you can customize your jersey with whatever you like.
I don't care what another man thinks about me wearing a jersey on or off a gameday. If this man is worried about me wearing a jersey, he needs to check his manhood.
Personally I like rocking my NLBM (Negro League Baseball Museum) baseball jerseys, hell I paid enough for them, and I will wear them during off baseball season.

Bottom line
My Money....My Clothes......My Choice

I have never owned a jersey and never plan to...to each is own. I view jersey's as another man's work clothes.

Hell it's your money do what you want with it.

My Sunday attire.

You mean like the comments posted on here over the years questioning the masculinity of men who wear sagging pants and skinny jeans?

Kendrick I am not talking about those thre
There is no problem with dudes wearing them to games or on game day. But in the streets, though? Especially college jerseys. Man listen.

I'm not talking about sagging and skinny jeans bruh!!! I am addressing this jersey age limit crap

So if I wore my jersey today in support of Grambling for the Red River Classic is that a NO NO bruh???

So wearing a jersey is a sign of immaturity, when worn outside of the confines of sporting events.

Got it.

Lol. You hit the nail on the head.
I will make sure I tell countless high ranking professionals I know who wear stuff like that. Hell my frat bruh who is a the lead patent council at a major Fortune 500 company likes to wear his Batman tshirt out and about on the weekends. LOL.

It's a time and place for everything. But on your off time and you are going somewhere casual or just running errands. You can wear whatever. As long as it is appropriate. Meaning not something offensive or in poor taste. Like sagging jeans. Some folks are the ultimate sports fan and thats how they dress on weekends, but may be suited up on Monday through Friday. To each it's own. I personally don't wear Jerseys unless I am going to watch a game whether live or at a sports bar or social gathering to watch a game. Only because I like keeping my Jerseys in tact for a long time. I am not into buying new ones that often. LOL.

If you're wearing it outside of a sporting event or at sporting-related themed event (like a bar, tavern, Buffalo Wild Wings or a watch party/gathering) then it's a no.

Not to the corner store. Not to a restaurant. Not to a wedding. Not to the grocery store. Not to run and get gas. Time and place, my dear brotha.

I was through with this post until I saw that. You hit the nail on the head with this. If you wear Ralph lauren, Sean John, Michael Strahan suits or Jordan shoes it's the exact same thing. You have the name of another man on your body much like rocking a jersey. There are no levels to this as they are trying to imply

"You're too old to be wearing that MVSU jersey with Jerry Rice's name but it's cool if I rock this Polo short with Ralph Lauren on the tag"

Well do you...I have three and I just got two of them 3 years ago. 2 Niners and one Florida and I've only worn them on Championship game day at home. I have Lakers , Niners, Florida and JSU T shirts for days ....Never got into the Jersey Kraze . But if you like it I love it...

I can understand restaurant, wedding etc. Those are different. Maybe Restaurant (not a fancy one) after the game or something. But to run to the corner store or to get gas. C'mon on man. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Sheesh.

Like I said, I know VPs and executives that will at least wear a jersey of their favorite team out on a basic errand. Not to a sit down dinner or nothing. Hell the Academy mafia be rolling around the DMV with their Navy jerseys on during the weekends. Some of them of are leaders of this country. Sorry Kendrick. These are the same kind of cats that dine with very powerful people. So I guess they have no clue to being mature either. I have seen very business oriented folks at the grocery store with a jersey on. Old head WHITE guys. Especially of their alma mater.

Everyone has bouts of immaturity regardless of their status. Lol

I don't wear jerseys outside of football season..

1) typically if im on my way to a game I may wear one during travel (airport) but that is unlikely
2.) I have two JSU jerseys that I have only worn to JSU or Alcorn games
3.) I have one GaTech jersey that I have only worn to Tech games
4.) I have one Philadelphia Philies Jersey that I have only worn to Phillies games
5) I have a Indiana University football jersey and baseball jersey when I wanna lowkey wear Kappa gear.. LOL
6.) I have a BRONCOS jersey that I have YET to wear but I will because it's a Bradley Roby Jersey and I know the young man.. so dayum what anyone says about me wearing his jersey.

So the topic of this post has never really came to mind. Therefore, it's DUMB! If I feel like rockin a Jersey on ANY dayum day, it's mine and there is NO age limit on when to wear it.. just make sure the shoes match! lol
