And we apologize but I think the Hornets, Panthers and Braves won't let them off the hook. They're one more 52-21 game away from going back to the Band Board lol

Man, you put too much stock in that. If that was the case U of H would always be good and not just because Tom Herman showed up. LOL. Explain how Alcorn got all those kids from Florida, Texas and everywhere else. Check their roster.

Its all about relationships with coaches, facilities (at our level), perceived playing time and I am sure kids want to play in front of some fans. A good coach as Casem said back in the day can win at Southern. Same for Jstate. I am sure the same for Bama State considering they are the capital city of their state and close to GA/ATL. Same for Tn State in Nashville. If you are a good football team, your players aint got time to be hanging out all over Houston anyway. Kids want to win.

Those kids from programs that have everything of course want similar facilities. But if their arses ain't good enough to get recruited and OFFERED by the schools who have like facilities then what do they do? LOL. You can want UT or A&M facilities all you want because you come from one of those big HS programs. But if those schools don't knock on your door. Or no FBS or big FCS program. Then oh well. You will be in Lake Charles at McNeese I guess. Or in country prison arse Huntsville Texas at Sam Houston if you go to a PWC FCS school that is winning.

As a matter of fact, Valley has one more fan than wins. You're the ONLY Valley fan that comes to mind right about now.

Yeah but we all know those schools athletes think they are going FBS. At the very least to a program like Texas State, UT San Antonio or Sam Houston at FCS level. Aint no Katy kid gracing none of our HBCUs unless nobody else wanted them. LOL. Heck not even a Seven Lakes or Cinco Ranch kid. LOL. Manvel and Pearland Dawson. You might get one or two kids who get their FBS dreams dashed.

It's a difference in an area of town. Scotlandville doesn't have a zip code. LOL. PV does though. LOL. Now you are getting closer and closer to Cypress or wherever they will call the area past there on 290. 99 at least will get a kid with a car to a lot of places. You still in the boonies. But again, if they like your campus, coaches and facilities. It don't matter anyway. They don't have time to be hanging out in Houston like the regular kids during football season. So being 40-50 miles away don't make a difference. At least a kid at SU can get to the main areas of BR within minutes. Plus with that SEC school on the other side of town, you know its even more foolishness going on in town. Some kids like college towns. Being in Houston don't mean nothing but trouble if you hang out in the wrong areas. I wouldn't even brag on that to a kid.
 
PV is in the boonies in Waller County....Shiiiiddd ya'll aren't but one step above Alcorn and one step behind Country Grambling...... (tbf needs to go the General Store, get him a root beer in a mug and enjoy a checker game.....lol
 
If you look at SU's schedule, TP may be right. They've only beaten teams that are down, including TheeILove. PV beat them but Alcorn and Gram are their biggest tests talent wise. They've already failed the first test miserably and I doubt they will beat Gram this year. I dont care what excuses they come up with, Gram aint taking another loss to them dudes.
