Southern's talent has eroded since the departure of Stump

I have tried to "told" ya'll.

I also told ya'll that SU had a really bad defense.. oh well.

The year after Stump, SU won the SWAC with Stump's players.
The year after that, they got to Houston... with fewer Stump players.
NOW, as most Stump players are gone.. they won't get close to Houston...

Oh well.. TP is always right.

What the hell are you talking about? You do realize the key players that took us to the championship are still there for the most part. You realize Lee Doss was not a Stump recruit when we beat yall. Willie Quinn is still there from 2013, So is Menard, So is Mike Jones. So is alot of players. I kept telling you it wasn't a bunch of upperclassmen that were there when we won in 2013.

We lost players like Virgil Williams another Pete recruit. The linebacker who intercepted yall was not a Stump recruit either. You are tripping TP. You can't even tell us WHO Stump recruited that has left. That made a huge impact. We lost one OL in Zach Brown who was All SWAC. Heck we couldn't even run the ball with Stump. Now we got an all SWAC RB in Tillery. Stump laid the foundation and I will give him that. But his key recruit was the QB from GA who flamed out after Dray beat him out. Dray Joseph was the biggest recruit for Stump's first class and Dooley recruited him. LOL. Plus his HS Coach was one of Pete's old players. Austin Howard is from the same HS. Same HS that your boy Moll at JSU is from.

But they said in the other post that SU is a PASSING team, not running maybe I'm the one confused

Jackson State fans are delusional. Southern talent has not eroded to me it seems better under Coach Odums than Stump Mitchell.
 
Since tp knows so much about Southern, look up the name Ladaurius Skeleton and see where his going next fall.

We do pass. Not as much as Orlando had us and just run the QB. We use the pass to open up the run a lot of the time. It makes Tillery more effective. We still love the deep pass and the pass game for sure. Just way more balanced than we have been when Pete let Orlando have us throw every down and Stump had no choice but to pass when he got there when he found out we didn't have the OL at the time to run the ball.

A year Stump-less team spanked y'all in the SCG
A 2 year Stump-less squad went to Jackson and beat dat ass!!!
A this year's Stump-less talent got your "best coach in years" fired with a 50 piece???

But the this so call 'eroded' just not to long ago hung 50 on them goofies smh and gashed them for 500 plus total yards if I can recall, I may be off with that
