Should The Cowboys Move Out The NFC East to the NFC South.

The Clown Prince of Crime
I mean let's be honest: the NFC east is basically Dallas vs. NYG, Philly, and the Deadskins. Those three always get together and hate Dallas.

Even though they lost today against the NYG (their first loss to NYG since December 2012), I still think they will win the NFC East.

But I think it would be cool to move Carolina out the NFC South and replace them with Dallas. Just a Thought.

Bruh, you don't remember when the NFL transitioned to the current divisional format ... Jerry Jones petitioned to stay in the NFC East because of the Cowboys' established rivalries with the Eagles, Giants and Washington. An initial plan had Dallas in the NFC South with the Saints, Bucs and Falcons, while others had a different version of the division with the Cowboys in it.

The NFL maintained those traditional rivalries among teams as much as they could.

True.... I think the rivalry isn't as strong as it use to be in the past.

Now this is some hilarious stuff here. Cowboys fans looking for a patsy schedule to help their sorry azz out. LMAO!!!

The NFC West makes more sense. Them being in the East isnt really logical.

True. Just like the Colts being in the AFC South while the Dolphins are in the AFC East.

When you look at it the old AFL teams are still intact in the AFC East and West. The NFC West will make sense once the Rams move back to the West Coast.

Yea they kept it because of the rivalries. It does not make logical sense. Hell I'm more inclined to wonder why Mizzou is in the SEC East. It would have been cool to move Alabama or Auburn to the SEC East...

Dallas built it's national fan base largely by playing in the traditional major media markets like DC, Philly, and NYC. There's no way Jerry would've traded that for Carolina, New Orleans, ATL, etc.

Now that does make sense. There are a lot of cowboy fans in those areas, especially in D.C.

The SEC had already devised it's divisions so that everyone was in the same division with pretty much all their major rivals. They weren't breaking that up just to accommodate Missouri, which quite frankly, was just filler for the conference to have a second team to bring in with Texas A&M.

With free agency and player always moving around. The rivalries are not as strong as they use to be. I wish the passion in the NFL would come back period!

We dont want the Cowboys in the NFC West although my Cards could probably get 2 free wins. I wouldnt mind.
