Prairie View A&M's Offense....

BH, this is CONSTANTLY mentioned throughout numerous articles written about the game as well as what we visibly see as well. Look @ this.... Where do you think SU's weakness is on defense?

OPP 3RD-DN CONVERT G Conv. Att. Pct.
1. Alcorn State 4 14 61 23.0
2. Grambling State 5 30 84 35.7
3. Texas Southern 5 25 66 37.9
4. Mississippi Valley 5 19 49 38.8
5. Arkansas-Pine Bluff 4 19 48 39.6
6. Alabama State 6 39 93 41.9
7. Alabama A&M 4 27 63 42.9
8. Prairie View 5 29 67 43.3
9. Jackson State 4 23 51 45.1
10. Southern 4 35 65 53.8

Dude you bringing up STATS why,

Yall threw the ball on 3rd and longgs to ONE PERSON, why are you bringing these stats up, it's not like yall were spreading the ball around converting...

again, We take away #3 in which everybody knew where the ball was going, those stats don't mean anything..

Let me ask you this

If we stop that screen pass on 3rd and 13 and get the ball back, would those stats that you leaning on matter?

If we recover that block FG would those stats matter?

If we don't drop the punt, would those 3rd down stats matter?

you see where I'm going

I see a whole bunch of "if's"............makes me want a "fifth"..........lol

BH, from what I understand, if y'all had taken #3 out of the game, there were a few others who were more than capable of stepping up in his absence (Ham, Brown, Hodge, et al).

You're not feeling stats lol but if you look @ "PVAMU ONLY" stats, you'll see that Trey spreads the ball around to many differing receivers, not just one. And also, this year's offense is more of a ball-control offense, unlike that stuff we fronted over the last 3 or so years that wanted to be "quick-strike" and elusive. smh

I think you may want to return to the stats in the game vs SU because it's painfully obvious that your defense has a MAJOR flaw, in that it cannot stop opponents in 3rd and anything. That's obvious. Wouldn't you think? Hopefully you all will have that situation rectified soonest.

Folk I aint posting to change your mind, but if you really think so that's Kool

But where were they better than us?

We put the ball on the field 6 times and still had a chance to win by 2 or 3 TDS
Man that not better than us i was just trying to show good sportsmanship. I honestly believe we didnt come to play against PV.

Man show stats for what? Stats like a bikini they show somes things not all things! Like said PV good win but im not impressed.

Simmons just has Worms number, nothing else needs to be said. Same thing happened when he was OC at Alcorn. We winning out the rest of the way Big.

I bring up stats to bring up a flaw in SU's defense that HAS to be corrected. I'm not concerned about how anyone feels about PVAMU's offense great or bad.

I'm only posting because I'm providing solid PROOF that your defense has a problem w/ holding opponents to a 4th down when they are in 3rd down situation. smh

Prairie View converted 11 of 16 third downs, and it scored touchdowns on third-and-15 and third-and-10 plays.

The bigger concern is that third-down defense has been an issue all season. The Jaguars’ SWAC opponents’ 53.8 percent conversion rate is the highest in the SWAC.

This problem has been going on for years..... Odums (the HC) needs to fire the DC and hire someone else!!!!

Mike Vite send help.

We didn't,

We put the ball on the ground 6 times

twice in the red zone, who does this?

Tillery hadn't fumbled all game smh...sorry all year

Then the 1st play of the game, (the bomb to Menard) why didn't the other WR block down field LMAO...shat would have been 6

but again, we needed this L

Y'all will lose. Simmons doesn't have every one in the Swac number.

JagTilUDead, @ this point, our season is successful, imho. We're 5-2 and played competitively in every single game we've participated in. That's a LOT to ask when they following is stacked against you:

ncaa APR penalties reduced practice time
1st yr quarterback
1st yr HC
1st yr DC
1st yr OC
1st yr DL
1.5yr lol DBs lol
No spring practice.
Recruitment period < 42 days pre-Feb 2015
Lost a few players, who were counted upon, due to transfer

Menard could have walked in the Endzone if he even got in dude way. I don't know wtf went on Saturday. It's as if our team went out Friday night lol. SU with six fumbles and all still should have won and had more yards than PV lol. We had zero turnovers vs UGA .

I would give props if they said "they escaped" but to come in talking like they've arrived or some shat LOL..man GTFOH
