I think they are saying Grambling fans expectations are HIGH for this year's team. They are not looking at they were a losing team with that 1-2 record coming in. With one of the losses being to a P5 Conference school and the BCU game being an absolute shootout. Gram fans have been stoked since last year's team success. So they anticipate they will be in the mix this year. Now had they played 3 SWAC schools and was 1-2 coming in to the SFC. Maybe the hangers on fan may have not been excited. Fobbs seems to have them fired up about the team.

Grambling side look just like PV side did last year. That Sun Saturday was a beast!!! (also was last year for PV side) The game needs to start at 6 or7, Folks was passing out left and right on Grambling side.

PVAMU's side for the 2014 game, check out the fans in the stands. Plenty of handfans being used in that sun.

explain to me why attendance was at a all time low during PV little winning streak ? I know why, Grambling is the main attraction for this game.

Jsu attendance is never correct. They announced it at 8500 for the TxSU game but I've seen less at a 12,000 announced attendance last year . It had to be about 15,000 if not more at tenants because I even told some of my family who where in attendance that I was surprised at the amount of people who were all there.

They actually did this year, a couple of years ago I was close to not going anymore. Moving the game to 4 pm and stopping the loud ghetto commercials and the buffoon halftime activities really changed the game this year

Were you at those games? Have you seen any footage? I think you need to go PV's library and pop in a few Beta or VHS tapes and look at who held the crowd in the 80's as well.

Grambling has the bigger name and is the draw. Except it and be happy that the SFC is no longer a Tiger feeding day like the overall series shows it was.

Winning ways as in beating SWAC opponents again. The SFC is back to "oh, Grambling should win this year", like it usally was. Grambling losing to Cal and Cookman has nothing to do with Fobbs' SWAC record.

Yes and Yes.......

Grambling didn't even crack being a partner in this game till around 85. Although we did play a game there in 84, it wasn't the SFC game as PV played Bishop College the following week that year in the SFC. PV have been in this game for 84 of the 90 years its been played.
