I guess having a good GSU team helps the attendance at the SFC. Great job!!!
 
It's been a couple years since I've been to the a SFC but if they cut out some of the shenanigans which are not needed, I believe this game could be an even bigger!

No its not. That would have some merit if PV wasn't drawing large crowds to the State Fair prior to Grambling's entry. Grambling came into the SFC with a losing record. PV had the better record so the "good Grambling team" excuse for the attendance doesn't really make sense. Congrats on the win but lets not get crazy.

+1. What's logically correct vs perception are two animals that often get confused by a few down IH20 brah.

Pre-1985, GSU didn't exist in Dallas or Fort Worth lol. Isn't that something?

Wow. Come on man. Grambling back to it's winning ways is the draw. The GSU crowd is what held this classic together during PV's trash years.

As long as GSU is winning, the numbers will be fine. GSU is the draw in this game.
 
I can only imagine the crowd gsu is going to bring to Jackson. Probably be more gramfam than blue bengal tigers this Saturday.

Grambling exists all the way from South Dallas all the way to Denton (where our kicker played HS ball)....for yearsssss. Oh, and ask Kimball, Skyline, Carter, Madison, Lincoln, Wilmer-Hutchins, SOC and the rest of DISD does Grambling exist?

Yep back to winning ways so now they back to supporting typical negroes, try hanging around when your team is losing year after year or even just having a couple of bad years then maybe I will be impressed!

What winning ways? what part of "GSU came into this years SFC with a losing record" did you not understand? Had you lost, you would have been 1-3. Like I said, saying that this game drew 50k because GSU is now " winning" is false. The SFC only drew 37k the last year that Grambling actually won the SWAC then dropped to 33K the following year when GSU came to the SFC as defending champs. Explain....
 
The fact of the matter the SFC needs both, lets all be real. They knew that classic wouldn't be successful without Grambling if they brought Langston in for a year and made things happen like moving the game back to Sept 27th instead of the original date of Oct 3rd, if that's not telling the powers that be something WOW. GSU is definitely a big factor in the game. It wouldn't be as successful without either school due to proximity and history. For GSU to be a school in Louisiana we have a big presence in Dallas, it is what it is. PV should have one, that's a given it's your home state.
