Hypothetical question JSU

Y'all know y'all might hire some light skinned AD from Louisiana. Especially one with a French type last name. LOL!!!

What stunned me the most about OMJ is that you would think J-State would be gunshy of pulling the trigger on that move after the James Bell deal.

A strong Jackson State is key to a strong SWAC ... just like a strong Grambling and Southern and PV and AAMU and Alabama State and UAPB and Valley and Alcorn.

I would like to see J-State get a young, hungry assistant ready to be a head coach that will beat the bushes recruiting HS talent and milk those Mississippi JUCOs. There's too much talent floating about in Mississippi for J-State to languish.

A competent AD who knows how to run a department is key to our success...We are gonna ride this crap out with OCJ/OMJ until we get an AD with a clue..its time to right this ship..

Those same alumni that want Bell fired are the same ones who wanted OMJ to coach back in 2003..it was only a matter of time before they weaseled him in there..

Funny thing is Comegy wanted to be at JSU in 2003 no telling where we couldve been...:(

This is funny as hell!!!! I mean you JSU folks swore that OMJ would come in and run the SWAC. Now you're talking of firing him....LOL...

So in essence what y'all saying is that THEY didn't learn from recent history and for selfish reasons pushed a foolhardy decision

This is a deep rooted issue. The Queen and Fuller did what they were asked to do. The primary supporters of the program wanted Comegy out (for reasons we won't go into here) and OMJ in. As many have said, they have tried to get OMJ hired with every coaching search we have had since Big Daddy died. This was the only time, we didn't have a coach lined up. Hughes was automatic since he took us to Bham. Culberson wanted **** and told Comegy to kiss to his azz. Comegy was the safe bet after **** and then they finally got OMJ. Now, if this does not work out, at least we never have to hear about OMJ again.

Also, a lot of "us" wanted Comegy fired BUT "we" did think about the **** situation. In the end, we felt like it was not smart to be scared to make the right decision. Most JSU alums we on-board with firing Comegy but most didn't know it was set up to get OMJ the job.

i hope yall get dr brousard as a.d. so the stupidity of the southern university board of supervisors can be exposed to the rest of the swac.
