Some Athletes Need Not Speak

LMAO....JSU and Alcorn should be dissing Ole Piss and Mississippi State every chance they get because JSU and Alcorn have represented the State of Mississippi more in Football the last decade than State and Ole Miss combined. How SEC West Titles have State and Ole Piss won the last decade?

Yeah he didn't think about it when he signed with Ole Piss. Now that he is a student and see the REAL deal, he is sickened. Oh well. No sympathy for him. I hope them Necks drive around all damn day with the Flag on their cars and chant whatever. No need to talk about it now.

Did I mention how much I hate Ole Piss. Burn that beyotch down to the ground. Where is General Sherman when you need him. LOL.

Bullshit that child grew up in Mississippi or at the very least went to highschool in Mississippi and you mean to tell me it has just started to sicken him today...sometime you just have to no comment a question which is what he should have done considering his current situation...but he was being like the rest of the black community that was sitting around not bothered about these flags flying and why is it still flying over Mississippi now, S.C. got the momentum going and I believe even Georgia did something already but yeah it so offensive to you Mississippi people!

Johnson was a 5-star recruit from the same town that the Freedom Riders (Cheney, Schwerner and Goodman) were killed in. He knows what goes on at OM. But we all know why he signed with Ole Miss. Look at what's going on with Laremy Tunsil in Oxford.

Nope. No sympathy whatsoever. I was wondering if he was from Mississippi. Now I see he is. And Philadelphia of all places.

GTFOH

Just because he grew up in MS, don't mean he really thought about what he would see at Ole Piss. These youngsters don't even think about the past until it hits them square in the face. And the fact, now that it is IN HIS FACE on a daily basis at Ole Piss for the last 4 years makes it totally different than what he may have thought when he was a Sr in High School in Philadelphia MS. I am sure he was sold the same bag of goods Ole Piss sells the rest of them black athletes from the home state and hell the black students in general. Some kids go there and know the deal and it don't bother them and just take their scholly and get their education and move on. Got a lot of friends who got their Masters and Law Degrees from there. But they knew the deal going in.

For him, obviously in hindsight it has started to bother him. But when staring at the full ride scholly from the flagship school in MS. I am sure everyone around him told him to go. You really think he had the BLACK community he grew up in saying dude you shouldn't go there man. Now that he is a GROWN man. Maybe he now understands the deal. Albeit, it's too late. Now he just needs to get his damn degree from them mofos and roll out when his football career is over. Like I said, I don't feel sorry for him. But at this point I guess he feels he has to say something after experiencing what most of us already know about them mofos.

I am sure he didn't have parents like mine who hated everything Ole Piss stands for and educated me on how them mofos are and don't be fooled with all the so called change. Most of these new generation kids don't get that from their folks.

I agree. He ain't getting paid any more so now he's mad. Lol

Actually he is still on the team and is a starting LB. Don't know why he is choosing to speak now. Maybe because he is a Sr and knows he is out of that mofo this year.

Maybe some of his boosters stopped slipping him some extra dollars now that he is in his last year there. LOL.

Dude just needs to play ball. Get his paper and get the fugg on. Too late now to be worried about what them Necks have on their cars around Oxford. No sympathy from me. But he better be cool. He still got to deal with them Necks for the rest of the season at least.

You do know the fans at LSU used to fly the purple and gold version of that flag. I do believe the school has ban them for flying the flag during games.

There is never a good time for an athlete to make a comment or statement about a social issue because it's impossible for that athlete to win among the public. So, that's why I'm always down with just them saying whatever, whenever.

Something is freaking wrong with you this is not about LSU, it's fans or any other PWI and their fans it about the child looking a mess trying to comment on a social issue and looking straight like the hypocrite that we blacks tend to be then he tried to make it about the students on campus and their cars well what about the R-Flags in the buildings and what not I wonder how many protest has he led in his 5 years at the school hell for that matter how many since the S.C. church killings...willing to bet he just got caught up in the media hype:rolleyes:

I understand your criticism of the young man's comment of not being aware of the history of Ole Miss. I was just pointing out to you that kids at other predominately White institutions, such as LSU have made the same mistake. If you read the article in the link below, you can say the same thing about the young person that wrote that article. I guess they didn't realize that racism existed on LSU's campus and Louisiana.

Look I am not trying to read your thesis about racism at LSU the flag doesn't fly in front of the school or the hallways as it does at Ole Miss hell the school is called the Rebels whether it's the colonel or the bear they are the Rebels and he knew that before he signed, some mentioned he was 5 star so I'm sure he had his picks of places to go outside of the SEC. and at the point in which it started to make him sick maybe he should have quit and went somewhere else.

Okay!!! But it wasn't my thesis. It was an article from someone who just experienced their first tailgate on LSU's campus.

Also, I bet a lot of those rednecks on LSU's campus don't realize that LSU's very first superintendent was General William Tecumseh Sherman, who didn't fly the confederate flag and was probably the most significant Union General to defeat the Confederacy. Why aren't LSU's rednecks celebrating that man's legacy??? It's kind of an oxymoron to fly a confederate flag at an university that was initially established by someone that worked hard to destroy the Confederacy. LOL!!!
