Could The SWAC East Already Be Won At The End of October?

I mean Alcorn is currently 1-0 in SWAC and now owns the Tiebreaker vs. Alabama State.

If they beat Valley, another SWAC East Opponent, they'll be 2-0 in the SWAC with two tiebreakers over SWAC East Opponents. All SWAC Games count but beating division opponents is especially important as you will own the tiebreakers.

Then on the schedule they have Concordia, UAPB, Bye Week, Grambling, Bye Week,and then Southern on Halloween Night.

I say this season would be an extreme disappointment if Alcorn doesn't return to Houston. Their schedule HIGHLY Favors them. If they win all the SWAC games leading up to November, they'll be 5-0 in SWAC Play Overall.
 
Alcorn already won the east, crown them already. Who else will beat Alcorn on the east side? Let me guess nobody.

Alcorn know that is a but whipping. Thats why he said by October hoping JSU have a bad season.

But for real, go back a few years just for research and see just how few times alcorn have swept the bammas in the same year.

This kind holds true for everyone in the east but valley, and they ain't never in it anyway. SO you have the tiebreaker with Bama Souf. Anyone that wins out from here will be in it, so this was a meaningless post. What a surprise.
 
I am not counting nobody out. Alcorn, Prairie View, and Southern are just in the driver's seat right now. Alabama St., Texas Southern need help to get back in it. We still have 8 more SWAC games to go. Haven't saw AAMU yet this year. Now I will say this. If Valley doesn't show improvement on OL and DL they are in for a long year. Also if Texas Southern or UAPB can't show some improvement on Offense they will be in for a long year. I had Alcorn being in a battle with 5 teams this year losing 3 of them.
1. Grambling - Scary offense, but defense looking suspect. Our Homecoming
2. Southern - Will be a good game. Their homecoming and on Halloween
3. Prairie View - Our OC is their HC. I look for them to try and shut Gibbs down
4. Alabama St. - Good Talent, but no spring, and all new coaches
5. Jackson St. - I have a funny feeling the CCC will determine who goes.
 



At the end of October we will probably have a pretty good idea who will win the east but here at the end of September no idea.
 
A lost to GSU and SU could make the East interesting

Don't sleep on PV..

Still alot of Football played, that's why I would like for SU to put this JSU game behind us and focus...
