We see JSU will not run out the clock before the half. That is how Grambling got easy points before the half last year but if that's our philosophy, that's our philosophy. I guess u have to believe in your system because they were passing rather than playing it safe. Special teams has really cost us about 3 TDs. Not taking knees in the endzone, giving up that big kickoff return and that blocked FG for a TD didn't help our cause. Without those things, MTSU probably would not have scored their last two TDs.

However, I am seeing what I expected so Im good.
 
Again we leaving the Defense of the field too long and secondary is not so hot right now! JSU has 240 yards to MTSU 329 at Halftime ( take away special teams play from MTSU all of them and the big plays they have only 7 points)

JSU looks like the improved team I was expecting to see. They are down 42-14 at the half, but the score could easily be 28-21 MTSU. Not trying to build a dream, but the Tigers should feel confident in their depth chart. JSU has some good size.
 
Making some errors, some guys are playing their first D1 game so I expected that. If we score one more time, I'm good. We competed against them!
 
I predicted 42-21 mtsu. I gave them a spec teams score and a defensive score. TBH, they have one RB and one WR that is killing our defense. Our DL is penetrating tho.

They'll make adjustments I'm sure, but we look good imo.
 
Y'all better tighten it up after halftime.

mTSU will smell blood and will completely try to take your heart out.

They don't mind running up the score. Real Talk!!!!
