Texas Southern

Practice starts: Thursday

Notes:
– Quarterback will be a question this fall for head coach Darrell Asberry. Senior Homer Causey has substantial experience from last year, playing in six games. But there are others who could be in the mix: juniors Mario Smalls, Tracy Johnson and Jay Christope.

– The Tigers have their strengths on defense, especially at linebacker. Darian Claiborne will bolster the linebacker corps again. Claiborne had three forced fumbles, an interception and a team-high 77 tackles in 2014. So will Jarius Moore, who had a team-high seven pass breakups.

Whoever that guy is took the information straight from the Texas Football Magazine. He did the same thing for us.

Was it Dave Campbell's annual deal? I perused it but it wasn't too informative this year, unlike other years.

Yep! He took the information straight from there and basically "summarized" it. How do I know, because I read the info on all Texas FCS teams.

Younger PVAMU alums are highly astute. Nothing but admiration and jealousy lol from this side of the keyboard for you up and comers. I kinda' figured the author basically plagiarized DC's deal. smh

I thought Causey switched over to DB?

I thought Mr HC did what needed to be done last fall. ::confused smiley:: W/ a year under his belt, he was switched? s....m....h... Wow. I can only imagine how betrayed he may feel (put yourself in his shoes). Politics, man.

Have you been in BBVA, it is a sweat box. My cousin used to run at 12:30 pm, in the summer. 3 national championships and third year in the league for an overachiever.

There's summer, and there's 102 degrees at the time you are out there. It's 12:43 now and the temps is only 93. At 3:30-5pm it will be noticeably hotter. And they were linemen.

How many games do yall have before 6pm in Sept?
