The only difference is SU has excellent coverage, so the world knows about everything that happens at SU. Every school in this conference has ineligible football players, if not they are cheating lol.

You don't lose points for just ineligibles. You also lose retention points. Besides, we are talking about THIS year. ..also, in the last few years, I can't recall a single player of impact being ineligible. The last one was Darius Bolela and that was like 2008 or 2009. Our APR point losses are simply due to the kids leaving the program.

You don't lose APR points for players who leave school in good standing.

Yes you do. Each player gets two points. One is for retention and one is for good standing. You can get the retention point back if you can prove if he went to another school, etc... Talk what you know.
 
Bottomline: JSU does not have academic casualties. We had a close call or two last year but they got their weight up!

That's if you went to another school. Kids can quit the team if they choose. They don't have to go to school. I have a cousin who played at Southeast Missouri. He decided after his first semester that he didn't want to play football or go to that school anymore but he had a 2.8 GPA. We are trying to get him into JSU right now..well, he should be there now as we speak. He sat out last semester. If they did APR numbers there in the spring, he won't be counted BUT he was eligible. If they can't find him at JSU, they are also screwed. If he decides to NEVER go back to school, they will never get that point back.
