SU AD (Broussard) is not coming back?

Guess that dude said, "UCK it!!" After all this APR and restrictions, he said life is more important than being miserable there.

He can blame those "unsmart" football players for his downfall.
Maybe. It takes a special person to be able to handle ALL of SU's problem athletic programs. Kinda like running this country as president. It'll age you about 20 years.

just saw on TV. Will Banks take the job full time?

I doubt he will take over full time. But we figured Will would not be back. SU politics as usual. Nothing new unfortunately. I expect the new President/Chancellor to roll his own guy in there after the football season.

Man, we told them jokuhs this was going to happen but they claimed he was on a sabbatical and would be back. Them su jokuhs lied again.

Who did you tell that too? Most Jags knew he was not coming back. We have seen this before. Man I tell you. Just shocked Will has stayed around this long on his own. I am sure he will be out of there soon enough. SU jokers just ain't tell you what we already knew. Oh well.

Is that a good thing or bad? Who is "his guy"? Have yall checked him out yet (if yall do know who he is)?

Broussard must not be associated with this Bayou Classic/NBC debacle

Why do you guys think it is a debacle? I am not understanding that. And no the AD has nothing to do with what NBC wants to do with their broadcast dollars. Everyone knows those guys are hurting. They missed out on the all the good deals with conferences and such by just being in Notre Dame's camp. They are in revamp mode trying to play catch up. If anything, The BC may need to shop themselves to ESPN/ABC. NBC is suffering sports wise. Lost the NBA years ago, March Madness years ago, no big college conference affiliation to even help promote their Sports Network we just moved to. Outside of having Notre Dame Football and in the Super Bowl rotation every 3 years. They have been getting their ass kicked by the other networks football wise for sure. So I am sure they are not interested in carrying us anymore if they don't have too.

As for Broussard, his days were numbered once he decided to be DIFFERENT and challenge the status quo at SU. It was a good thing for awhile but we knew he would step on some shoes along the way that would not allow him to stay in that position for a long time.

Wait, JR! I thought someone said he was the best/greatest AD in the SWAC?
EXACTLY, now they suddenly saying it's politics after saying the man would be back after a few months off. Hahahaha.
Seems like su's worthy to be called the Bama State of the West.

Well, he ain't that great anymore. And I'm sure that dealing with all your delinquent athletic programs didnt help you all keep him.

You can't find one post JR made that said he would be back in a few months. LOL. So stop making up stuff.

Nope, he did a great job. Athletic Dept is in better shape because of him. Politics is a mofo though. Has nothing to do with the job he did. Man they need to take your LA native card away from you. You act like you don't know how your home state roll.

Huh? Dude, I don't keep up with what's going on at SU. I just agree with what the others say about SU and how it's ran. I mean, it's not like they're lying.

Politics are at every school in that state. Even the great LSU. You do remember when their Chancellor quit over his fight with Jindal right? La politics are mofo. Black or white. Both have issues.

Well, I agree with you here. I do understand why this state is in the shape it's in now. But that sure don't discredit how SU is being ran either. But in all fairness, I guess SU is being ran about the same as this state, so I guess I shouldn't expect anything more from SU. But I wouldn't put it all on the state either.

It's how folks survive in that state. It is what it is. I can't explain or understand it as I am not a native. Just a different way of doing things. But in saying that, them crazy mofos are better shape than my home state overall. MS politics is about certain rich families that control the entire state. The rest don't matter. LOL.

Who do you think matter here? Who do you think is controlling the state here? But in all fairness, SU's board/athletic department represent how this state is ran.
