Yes, that was a pleasant surprise. Not the fact that we beat them, but how we beat them.
Alcorn beating Southern in 2003 was a huge upset too. I still don't understand what happened in that game.
Yall have mind control over Bama St. Doesn't matter how good they are lol.
Quincy Richard birthday was on that day. Partied to hard!

The SU win over JSU in 2012 was a shock!
The year Alcorn stopped SUs perfect season was even more of a shock!
The 2011 JSU-GSU game was def an upset! ..but then again, GSU did go to to win the SWAC.

That is not an upset, we finished 2-9 and got blown out by multiple teams that season. I was surprised that team even came that close to winning.

Yea they bragging about beating freshman and first year starters on a team in 2010 and 2011.

2007 - gram win at J-State
2013 - Alcorn win over J-State (even though its a rivalry game and J-State was looking ahead)
2014 - J-State win over Alcorn (even though its a rivalry game and Alcorn was looking ahead)

I turned in to the radio to hear the final score was surprised the game was still going and it was close. I was expecting a 50-20 thrashing... that reminds me..
1982 (I think) - SU 50, gram 20: I believe this was Otis Washington's 1st season as head coach. SU was down 20-16 at the half.

Oh lord. I have never been more pissed at a GSU team. That was a really good team that came into the BC underestimating SU and already getting their ring sizes fitted weeks before. They played like s*** in the dome and in Birmingham.

AAMU 21 JSU 20 1995 <---AAMU was in the SIAC but beat JSU who would win the SWAC that year.
AAMU 33 SU 27 1998 <--AAMU had just moved up to 1-AA, was still in probationary period but beat SU who like JSU would go on and win the SWAC. The game itself remains the largest attended game at Crews.
