Bruh, this is 3 out of 4 last coaches that Bama state has hired that basically told the NCAA to f off.

If that's the case, someone representing the University needs to show some leadership and say that.

The longer they keep quiet, the more guilty they look.

That's the problem 2DaPoint, Dr. Boyd has not favored Josh Moon and the Advertiser. Their coverage of the University has not gone over well with some. Read the Rankins commentary linked above. Local Sports broadcaster and SU grad Mo Carter has no problems getting interviews with the coaching staff or info about anything sports related at ASU.
 
To be fair. I don'tremember the last time josh moon wrote something positive about bama state. He seems to always be looking for the dirt. If I'm wrong, correct me and I'll apologize. Rankinwrote that he doesn't agree that the coverage of bama state is 90% negative. Maybe not 90%, but i think we can agree on the word disproportionately. If he disagrees, he has a database he can pull up all the stories from the last year and count it up. He can clear up that misconception with cold hard facts. If jenkins or his coaches were out there with the guys then they are stupid and deserved to be roasted. If the guys went out and worked on rheir own that sounds like the type of men you want on the team. Bama state has never... never announced who would not be back. They still haven't announced spring basketball signees. Can Moon ask about that? Probably not. Would be toocmuch positive writting about two 3 stars choosing bama state. Why would they do that. That'd be like a white woman deciding to live life as a black woman.

Y'all can complain about Moon all y'all want. But let me know when he has been wrong about what he has reported. If he lying on y'all, get his ass. But if he reporting what y'all doing and it's bad press, that's on y'all. He made a request and told y'all why. Now the school wants to circle the wagons and hide info. That don't make Moon look bad. It makes Bama State look bad.

They complaining about Josh Moon but ain't nobody complaining about the sorry ass leaders at Bama St. That's ass-backwards.
The clarionledger, Ross (or any past beat writer), wlbt, wapt, wjtv, Jackson free press, the darn buyers guide... Or whatever else source it is in Jackson is no different from Josh moon. If it's a rotten egg on 1400 J.R. lynch street, you best believe they're reporting it. And they're going to report it 10x a day for a full week no matter how big or small the issue may be.

Bama state knows Josh moon is going to do his "job" (expose all the bullshit & consistent illegal activities on that campus. That's a full time job) yet & still the leaders at Bama state make bonehead decisions to cheat, lie, steal, or whatever it is that's causing Josh Moon to turn his attention to that campus. Stop blaming JM and start blaming the idiots At ASU. Hold them accountable.

Right. You don't see the Clarion running to post positive things about JSU everytime. Just like that shooting that took place at those apartments where the guy shot his best friend that had nothing to do with JSU. But it was "our" party and all that non-sense.

Exactly, and when it's a domestic dispute. , shooting or something as simple as a food fight 7miles or 10 miles from JSU campus. WLBT/WAPT/WJTV goes on the air and says: JPD responds to a domestic dispute/shooting NEAR JACKSON STATE. Then they show a map with a red star on Northside Drive indicating the incident and then shows a big shaded area representing JSU's campus. And I'm thinking B*TCH that ain't near JSU LMAO

At least JOSH MOON is reporting the truth. Bama state so ungrateful. They got an accurate news source & reporter but they're complaining. Smh

There ain't a black school under the sun that'll get fair and equal coverage from majority white newsrooms.

HBCUs need to learn how to play the chess game with white, investigative reporters. Josh Moon is an investigative reporter. It's not his job to report on how many 1st generation students walked across the stage in May, or how much money our schools contribute to their local and statewide economies. Investigative reporters are paid to dig up dirt. Don't do dirt, and they have no ammo to snipe you with. It's really that simple.
 
And it's not like crime at white schools goes unreported. There's a murder on Auburn's campus almost every 2 or 3 years. Alabama has drug busts EVERY YEAR. They go reported.

The difference is, PWI administrators cover their tracks when they're unethical. "OUR" administrators (some of us, at least) get sloppy, thinking nobody will find out.

Look at UAB and Ray Watts. Every media outlet in the state was crawling under his ass. Now the whole country is pointing the finger at him, AND the UA System trustees. Why? Because they fudged up and didn't cover their tracks.
