With all of the conversation regarding schedules, SWAC members for the most part in 2015 have really challenged themselves with tough out of conference foes (for the most part).

Mississippi
Alcorn State-
Georgia Tech = Season Opener on a Thursday-Tall Order but great for the defending conference champions
Concordia= Very poor foe

Jackson State-
Middle Tennessee State-Formidable Foe and will let the Blue Bengals know what they are working with
Tennessee State-Mainstay on JSU's schedule and a great matchup

Mississippi Valley State-
New Mexico-Tough opener
Jacksonville State-Great FCS measuring stick

Alabama

Alabama State-
Tennessee State-Great FCS opponent
Miles-Poor Foe, Hornets need to beef up the Thanksgiving Weekend opponent

Alabama A&M
Cincinnati-Very tough season opener but the Bulldogs will learn a lot about their team
Coastal Carolina-Good FCS foe and measuring stick

Tennessee State-Great FCS measuring stick

Louisiana

Grambling State
Cal State-The Tigers open up on the PAC 12 Network with a tough foe
Bethune Cookman- Great FCS foe that should create fireworks.

Southern University A&M
Georgia-Possible FBS Top 10 foe and an extremely tall order
Louisiana Tech-Another tough foe that has traditionally played any team in the country tough

Arkansas

Arkansas Pine Bluff-
South Carolina State-Great opponent and MEAC power
Morehouse-Poor Foe

I plan on being at that Tech game.

I agree JRock...with scheduling like this I can't wait until that 7 game mandate.

Texas-

Texas Southern University-
Bacon College- A disgrace
Faith-The Tigers needed a magnifying glass to find these foes

Prairie View A&M
Texas State-Tough foe and the Panthers will know what they need to work on after this game.
Univ. of Faith-Poor Foe

What's the advantage of playing the Bacon College and Univ of Faith games? The only advantage I see is padding the team's win/loss column and securing coaches their jobs.

Yeah, I have to admit that their schedule is pretty trifling. It would be a little more forgivable if they would have scheduled at least one formidable out of conference opponent. They did something similar last season, came into conference play undefeated and chest thumping then proceeded to get their skulls caved in and ragdoll dragged all across the gridiron when the schedule caught up with them.......smh & lol

:( *shrugging shoulders and thinking back on when PVAMU scheduled Paul Quinn and Texas College for a few :( *

I like what sTu did to make SU their HC opponent and the other games where one will be featured for 5$ admittance, but still.... *smh*

Okay, we'll leave you alone....lol Just know that Jack Yates, Callaway, Blount or St. Augustine have more name recognition than those two opponents and you might as well played them........lmao (you know it's true)

Alcorn has a recipe.. either cupcakes or some automatic azz whoopings. Shameful Grade= F
JSU = We used to pride ourselves in not selling out for a check.. Oh well. We do have TSU tho... Grade = C
Valley = When you are a traditional program, you either upgrade the program or schedule cupcakes. Grade = F

BAMA State. TSU and Miles. Given their situation and restrictions, Miles is probably the best they can do.. Grade = B
AAMU = Why play Cincy? Coastal Carolina is above what AAMU needs right now. Grade = C-

GSU = Automatic azz whooping with a good challenge. Grade = C
SU = Two azz whoopings Grade = F

Arkansas

Arkansas Pine Bluff-
South Carolina State-Great opponent and MEAC power
Morehouse-Poor Foe

I'm not sure how good Morehouse has been lately but UAPB does not need powerhouse opponents right now. They are not in 2012 shape right. Their schedule is a nice balance for where they are as a program. Grade = A-

Texas Southern = No comment , Grade = F-
PV = Texas State is ok but should be too much for the Panthers so it's an even trade with a cupcake. Grade = C+
