famu move to the swac the meac would go supernova and explode. With the shape some of the meac schools are in, they would not survive famu bolting the conference. Meac will lay in the middle of the road blocking famu busses before they let them go.

FAMU could still play the FC, ATL Classic and an in-state FBS school as OOC games and renew rivalries with SU and JSU. Makes all the sense in the world.

I just posted it because it has your conference name on it...personally I don't care. MEAC leadership sucks...the SWAC isn't much better but at least ya'll are focused on money

But speaking of has beens, how many championships did JSU athletics win this season...surely with the APR restrictions you speak of, less teams competing equals an easier road to a title, right?

Not with the 7 game mandate and with PVAMU being in the west and FAMU being in the east. Y'all really wouldn't have to play each other every year.

I would love for FAMU to come over to the SWAC, but it makes too much sense for this to happen. FAMU would be in SWAC East and another school would be in SWAC West!
