Mom Who Shames 13-Year-Old Daughter For Posing As Adult On Facebook Goes Viral

This child put herself in a position where she could have been kidnapped, raped, killed, or all three.

And all that can still happen. She put all her business out there. CPS can still take her kid if they view how she's living and her felony bad for the child. Nobody had to know she had a felony or where she lived. This happened 4 different times-something is not working.

I can say no also. It was different times with different ways of thinking. When I was 13 kids would have just got PRIVATELY the shit beat out of them for doing what this child did. You do that now you get PUBLICLY arrested. Now we approaching an era where both the parents and kids have been raised with social media. So, old ways of thinking may not be getting the job done anymore.
No kid did this when we were kids because there was no social media. Parents react differently with the times.

Did any of your parents record your beatings or whatnot and pass the videotape around to their friends when you were growing up? My parents didn't and I did some pretty stupid stuff. I am glad my mom and dad found that it was okay to punish me without millions of people seeing.

No, because 1) my parents didn't have that kind of mentality (and if they did, what could I have done about it, 2) my parents worked hard but back then a video recorder was considered a luxury item that we could not afford, and 3) there have been very, very rare instances where I got dealt with in front of my friends, and when it happened, they all went home scared because their parents got a phone call about them right after.

It's easy to say what a person will or won't do (especially in this particular case ) when they don't have children or when the situation doesn't/hasn't happened to them. While some may think you don't have to be an involved parent in order to know how to go about child-rearing, you sure can truly relate better when you are one.

Yea via the neighbors whooping me, uncles, aunts, hell they might as well. LOL...Plus my father was Army Special Forces....do you realize what happens to a kid who's dad does that for a living?????

No lie in place of an ass whoopin pops would talk to me for hours outside during the spring, summer, and fall and the mosquitoes would tear me up. Hell I wanted a whooping.

This is retarded. She basically just let every dude at her school, every dude in their city know that her daughter is a freak that likes to take half naked pics. Yea, i'm sure this will end in a positive manner. Keep it real her momma is an attention whore that posted that video on facebook for likes. And most likely she'll just end up even more out there than she already was with the attention she's gonna get now that dudes know what's up with her. Yea, great parenting there. And also, how the hell u have a 13 year old and don't know that she has a facebook page? If she was taking pics in bra and panties it had to be done at home with either a computer or a smart phone...which begs the question, why would she have either a computer in her room with internet access that isn't being monitored...or a smart phone..at 13? Parents make stupid decisions and then wanna make videos beating their kids and post it on the internet for props. Why would you even ask her about that freak shit then post it for the world to see? Piss poor parenting.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and this saying I heard has always stuck with me; You have the right to raise your child as YOU see fit, not your parent's or anyone else's ideas. When I learned that, I learned a lot.

Now, I didn't see anything wrong with what the mom did. She acted up on Facebook, she got admonished on Facebook. She didn't slap, snatch on or hit the kid, she talked and had her tell the truth and then pasted it on HER CHILD's Facebook page, so those she'd fooled would understand and not make that mistake. Hopefully it was effective. I stand with the mom

The child posted inappropriate pics of herself 4 different times, but has the mother reprimanded her on FB 4 different times? Has the mother publicly checked her daughter on social media 4 different times? No, because mom clearly stated that she had done enough to teach her daughter a lesson last year when she took away child's phone and iPad; mom went on to say that "she was devastated and it came down to this; I had to teach her a lesson". So there goes that theory about taking away child's social media access; that's what didn't work! Again, I'm not saying what mom did will work, but it will imprint on her child and make her think twice about posting those types of pics of herself. Besides, mom said her child is no longer being bullied, their relationship is good (no anger on either's part), her child is happy, and most importantly, that her parenting/upbringing of her daughter works for her!

As far as CPS taking her child away "if they view how she's living", how is she living? CPS removes children from homes if they are or if evidence shows physical and/or sexual abuse, neglect, gross malnourishment, etc. Since mom made a reprimand on social media, that tells that she is/was aware of her child's conduct and acted/disciplined her accordingly (no neglect). She didn't beat the child (no physical abuse). I saw no signs of under-nourishment/under-feeding......

Folks without teens/young adults don't know how just taking devices away doesn't stop kids from having access. First of all their friends have devices, then some of them are crafty enough to bypass the school's social media blocks on the computers and school tablets. That's just the start of it.

I think we can all find the humor in this one.

Get em!!!! Like my dad always told me...."you ain't got no money...me and your momma have the money...this house is not a democracy...me and your momma are the judge, jury, and punisher...and you really don't have a defense attorney"

So, what i'm reading is, there's nothing wrong with her letting the world know that her daughter is a freak because.... her daughter initially posted the pics on facebook? lol...why do folks always praise the parents for doing something like this AFTER the fact? And i'm sorry but that teenagers are gonna be teenagers mess isn't gonna fly either, not with a 13 year old. If you have a 12-13 year old posting semi nude pics on the internet, YOU dun goofed somewhere. And, if you think a beating on the internet is gonna fix it, it's probably no wonder the girl was doing it in the first place.

It's almost as retarded as this was

If you can't figure out a better way to respond to attention whoring by a 12-13 year old than using the same method they did to do so...well..you end up with 12-13 year olds with naked pics online. And based on the way she's handling it im gonna go ahead and say, pregnant by 16.

There is a reason the term nikker exist among black folks. In our group we have those who always criticize regardless. They have all the answer's to tell folks how go live, religious beliefs, raise kids, but don't give a damn about being black. Nikkers. Gotta love them. Let folks do them. Its that simple.

Did she tell her daughter to tell the camera she can't wipe her behind well? smh & lol (not sure that was the best punishment but understand the mother's rage)

That had me in fuggin TEARS. Then she said that baby had panties with the days of the week on them. That's all she had to say. The girl's soul was crushed then.

ETA: Poor parenting and poor punishment on the mother's part. I'd question the mental capacity of a guy who can't differentiate between a 13 yr old and 19 yr old. The age gap is too big. You'd have to be mentally retarded to confuse the two. She looks like a baby, forreal no matter how she acts. A few conversations with her and i bet her naivety comes smooth out. Miss me with that. Her mom is an attention whore and they say the appl..nvm.

The mother would have never had to do that if she was monitoring her daughter's Facebook page from the start. This is similar to the mother slapping her son in Baltimore. There's a deeper issue going on with some parents of today and their children.

Sooo you think she has time to monitor EVERY post, EVERY day. Obviously, there was some monitoring going on and obviously the daughter didn't know she was being monitored.

Not sure if I agree with the punishment but it's her child and it's her job and responsibility to punish her.

On a side note, did you all see the one where the father made his son smash his xbox? Now THAT schitt was funny.... lol

Was this the dad on the lawn mower?

Most freaks are freaks because their momma is a freak truth be told. Just like dudes who have babies everywhere and justify manhood with their spoon and kids every where get it from their daddies. Genes are powerful. With all that said you still gotta let folks raise their kids the way they see fit.
