In that case, why hasn't USA Today published private schools athletic finances??? It definitely would be interested to see how some of the big ones compare to other schools, such as Notre Dame.
You've offered not ONE solution to counteract the foolishness and incompetence being displayed on su's campus. Why is that?

Question:

Since you are so enthralled at any and everything going on at Southern University and have been proven, on many of occasions to be void of understanding with said matters pertaining to Southern University...Do you have the answers to the debacles that are going on at YOUR school? A simple yes or no is acceptable.

Please note, there could be debacles going on at your school that you aren't privy to so choose your answer wisely.

And don't divert by saying something like "let's stay on topic here" or "this isn't about JSU." You know, your usual quips which are trite and ineffective. Just answer the question.
Name those massive debacles at JSU and I will address them. I've already addressed the issue regarding the dome, which is minor.
Name one major debacle that's causing the NCAA to threaten to ban JSU from every sport and I'll gladly address it.
Name one major debacle involving JSU's leadership that remotely compares to what's going on at su with it's board and I'll address it.
Name the massive cuts that JSU is facing that's even remotely similar to what su's facing and I'll address it.

In the meantime, when will you address su's debacles instead of trying to deflect attention away from that giant elephant in su's board room?

No more than what you offered when your president fired a man who at least kept jSU's football team competitive every year and foolishly hired a man with no HEAD coaching experience who was already beyond his prime, basically reaching back and hiring someone with no more coaching skills than James Bell. And that press conference they gave was completely embarrassing. Like I previously stated, we have all had our embarrassing moments.

Private institutions don't have to report that athletics money to the Department of Education like public schools. However, they still have to file Form 990 with the IRS

Form 990 is also the same form school foundations and other nonprofits must file with the feds.

If you want to see the SWAC office numbers, look for the Form 990.

How can you compare not renewing a football coach's contract with the fiasco that is going on at your school? NCAA bans, APR and compliance data incomplete, AD reassigned then put back into his position, etc...

Hahaha. Wait, so you're putting our "issues " on the same scale that your issues are on and think it is even? Come on man.

I understand what you are saying, but my question is, why USA Today choose not to report private schools athletic finances since their information is out there too???

Neither are related to academic programs and they are both athletic issues, so yes they are about the same.

Please read the above post. The domed stadium will be an issue that will dog jSU until someone have enough sense to pull the plug. I wonder just how much jSU has spent in consulting fees on something that is more than likely will not happen.

Probably because public institutions are required to have to have item a and item b in a relatively uniform fashion. Which makes compiling data easier.

The way private schools shuffle funds around differ from school to school.

So you are saying USA Today is only publishing those schools that are easily reportable.

He's really reaching. It's not like many JSU folks didn't have enough of Comegy. Is THAT all he can find on JSU?! LOL!

How is a coach's contract not being renewed the same as ALL of your sports programs being banned indefinitely by the NCAA?! There's no way in hades you can explain that one. Hahahahahaha!!!

No they are not. Don't try to crab us and pull us down with yall. Yall are in the dumps.

I'm not the one pulling y'all down. Y'all did a good enough job of letting jSU's president hire a person that was completely incompetent to be a Division I HEAD coach.

Another laughable and embarassing reach. The dome primarily has to do with football. We have a stadium to play in. The dome isn't an emergency but getting su's sports programs reinstated and APR back on track are of utmost importance. Just ask your board.

I'm sure y'all are jumping with joy with Harold Jackson as y'all head coach.
You didn't win the SWAC last year and you're STILL banned and broke. The only school in the nation with ALL of it's sports banned by the NCAA is su.

So you are saying USA Today is only publishing those schools that are easily reportable.
Yes and no. The public schools data is most readily available. Also public institutions make up the vast majority of NCAA institutions, especially on the Division I level.

If enough people bugged USA Today to get private school info then they will

If you say so...

I'm sure they probably will. But it would seems like they would want to publish data on schools like Notre Dame, USC, and a few others, since they are probably in the Top 5 in generating revenue or possibly the top school. .

Why I brought up XAVIER, was because when was the last time u heard anything negative about Xavier, when was the last thing you heard anything bad about Dillard... and for some that say they are private, when was the last time you heard something about Mcnesse State, etc,, what I am saying is that enough is enough,, WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET TIRED,, SUBR might be a land grant college, but suno, susla are not,, and honestly,, what if they decide to put SUBR in the LSU SYSTEM,, and disband the system,, SUBR will still be a school,, SO FOLKS CANNOT SAY THE STATE is racist, they kept SUBR,, and they will just look at TXAM,AND SEE HOW PVAM IS DOING or what if they decide.. which their have been talks.... and that is making one BOARD to oversee SU, LSU,UL SYSTEM,, I AM JUST SAYING,, STOP MAKING EXCUSES, AND TAKE ACTION
