I wonder how big this story is nationally. I know USA Today and a few other mainstream websites have picked it up, but ESPN, at least from what I've seen or heard, hasn't mentioned this at all. Not on it's website, on TV or on the radio. There isn't much chatter, at least from a mainstream perspective in terms of writers, columnists, etc. on Twitter either.

I find this interesting, because there is a dead period in sports right now.

"Look dammit we are here today to discuss how to tame the circus down there at Bama St, we need help and are open for suggestions"

You can start by focusing on jsu and its obsession with #myASU! jsu is equivalent to the chick you smashed the night of prom after you took your main chick home. A non factor at best.

Incompetence was when yall hired Jackson and Valley stuck that pitch fork up yall a$$.

And Bama State didn't hire someone much worse in a guy pulling a knife on college students? Dude should be in jail right now but he's at Bama State. Guess that's the next best thing to being there.

Why would a school who practically owns Bama State academically and athletically be jealous? If folks are obsessed with anything, it's how you Bama State folks are trying to spin this debacle by blaming everybody else except the guy your staff just hired.
Heck, even they are now at odds with each other. One side's lying on the other. Just look at how much turmoil and attention this has brought to ole Bama State....and it's not even football season.

Just hold on. Other big & hot news about Jenkin's private life is being talked about. Some FAMU & BCU folks know all about it. smdh!

I was just told the topic is being discussed on the thread about him taking a $90,000 pay cut.

The discussion in in this one http://onnidan1.com/forum/index.php?topic=97482.0 Onnidan

Keep it coming. I'm sure this is directly affecting coach Jenkins' checks and his eight hours a night in some way. However, it's refreshing to see that we do have enlightenment thinkers, EVEN if they are scarce here in the TSPN community Carry on. lol

The only reason USA Today picked it up is because the The Montgomery Advertiser is a Gannett paper...nothing to see here keep moving people

Jenkins fits in morally and ethically at bama state. I see nothing wrong with this hire.
And from a win/loss standpoint, deacon Jackson fits in perfectly in Jackson. Even his namesake indicates. You all will learn that times have changed. Stop preoccupying yourselves with things that simply do not concern you.

Care to post Bama States all time record against JSU?
