She was actually wrong in saying your defense won the head to head match up. Your defense was TURRIBLE all season long. Your special teams got two TDs and your offense got to play one of the worst JSU defensive coordinators in our programs history. The JSU defense and special teams may as well had been playing for SU.
 
Forget looking for the list of school's commits, MVSU smacking JSU is waaay better entertainment

His winning that ONE game does not mean he can coach. OMJ fixed the team and went out on a high note. Valley would not have wanted to see the team that played TxSo and Alcorn.

A lot of coaches have lost games their first year... Barlow, Hopson, Odums, etc.. Comegy only won 3 games in 2009. So one year does not define if someone can coach. Your team was 3-3 at halftime vs JSU and only won becasue Comegy didn't leave us many o-linemen and ours had to play hurt.

You list to a 4th string 5th year Senior an. That JSU game was his only start in 5 years and first time taking more than 10 snaps in a game lol... Your defense made him swac potw that week lol

You take Odums out of it. He was handed the keys on an interim basis after we fired Stump during the year. He had to coach with Stumps coaches for that fall. His first full year as the head man with his own staff he won the SCG.

TP, your program at jsu is in total shambles. You guys have an old man that is inexperienced at being a head coach. You people were humiliated by Grambling last year after they decided to not show up the year before and got simply Molly Whopped by Southern. Mississippi Valley took your coach and lambasted your program and the Southern Heritage Classic should drop you all for AAMU. I don't care what players you all recruit, you will not win. In the big scheme of things, this is simply terrible for the SWAC. Thank goodness Alcorn State has stepped up to represent Mississippi in jsu's hiatus. You people didn't learn a thing from the Dumbbell hire......Basically, you're back in the same place. Your school's foolish pride let the best coach you guys had since Big Daddy go. The bright side of it all is there is no way but up because jsu has hit rock bottom.......Good Luck
