Southeastern "Imposters"

Should be wins for the SEC. East Carolina may cause some trouble.

East Carolina will cause trouble. Florida's entire staff isn't returning, we are being coached by an interim coach that is looking to be Michigan's DC, our offense has been very inconsistent, and we have our key return man deciding that he isn't making the trip with the team. Add in East Carolina being hype to beat an SEC team, it will be very hard for Florida to win the game if the coaching staff and players have already checked out on the season.

Durkin to Michigan is pretty much done.

I don't want to hear that. If 6-6 South Carolina and 6-6 Arkansas had lost to TCU and Michigan State, folks would have been in here bragging about both losses. Just look back to the ACC-SEC showdown week. Folks talking about the ACC is better than the SEC because 3 of their top 4 teams beat 5-7 Kentucky, 6-5 Florida, and 6-6 South Carolina.

We are over the Thanksgiving weekend sweep although the dust still permeates those SEC campuses. The ACC is talking about the baptism of Miss St. last night by the Ramblin Wreck. As storied as the Orange Bowl is we set a rushing record of 452 yds. Most of these yds came from the simple dive play against a SEC d-line. Actually, our last two victories against Miss St. in the last four years were worse than yesterday.

Georgia should almost always have more talent that Georgia Tech considering how Mark Richt is recruiting. Vince Dooley primarily recruited for need. Richt is doing that and also signing the best player available. A GT win over UGA is very special.

My first game at the Superdome was the Sugar Bowl with Ohio State and Alabama. (I went to my first Superdome Bayou Classic two year later.) It seems like Bama fans are well represented in the Superdome.

Mad congrats to JR and the Ohio State Buckeyes. To beat Bama in SEC country in a SEC bowl under adverse conditions at QB is a testament to the leadership. That was classic Big 10 running game with a SEC twist in the passing attack. Hell of a performance - just a bit shocked of how the Big 10 has advanced over the years, which is correlated to Urban coming to the conference.

and Harbaugh coming in as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines next season. :D

Mark Richt sucks... I honestly think Paul Johnson will be a better coach than Mark Richt.

I kept my mouth shut because I didn't wanna lose our coach.. LOL But if Florida was smart, they would have offered the job to Paul Johnson. With lower academic standards and the chance to get 3 and 4 star recruits rather than 2 and 3 star recruits, Johnson would be deadly!

Last 15 Match Ups (Since 2000)

Georgia 12
Georgia Tech 3  :emlaugh:

Yep.. but most of those games were close and if we can maintain this momentum, that record won't matter. All we needed was a little defense and Ted Roof has given us that. We could have been winning more games if Al Groh's defense was not so bad. Still not sure why Johnson fired Dave Wommack after going to the Orange Bowl in 2010.
