People say black people treat other black people like crabs in a barrel conveniently neglecting that a crabs natural habitat is not a barrel.

Everyone here has rooted for the meac champion in the playoffs every year. Most watch the games on espn3. Even the most outspoken critics of the playoff system have simultaneously been the ones arguing for why the meac got snubbed by not having two teams on the playoffs. THIS YEAR.

For some reason that dude from SCState can't see that. If the crabs in the barrel had enough sense, they probably could devise of a plan to take down the walls of the barrel so that they all could walk out together.

See you in the challenge. Close doors or not you got a foot in your asses on the way.

Dude being that we're 5-1 against y'all all time, we're undefeated in the challenge, and we have the majority of our team returning you may wanna get real. Nobody's concerned about y'all. Lucky for you we're not in the challenge anymore.

Not by me. And I don't support people who have cslled it that. We just have a difference of opinions. I've never had an issue with the scg. I have only said I wish it didn't interfere with the playoffs so the title winner could still go of they chose to

You do realize that Southern and Grambling started playing the Bayou Classic on the weekend after Thanksgiving before the playoffs came into existence. Even though the NCAA knew that, they made the decision to start the FCS playoffs on the same weekend. It appears to me that they saw Southern and Grambling using the Thanksgiving Holidays as a means of making money. There's no reason why the FCS playoffs could have started the following weekend.

From my time on these boards which is about 7 years it's literally been the opposite of what you said. The scg has been called everything from segregation to c**n bowl. Even now meac fans are calling the thought of this game step n fetch. The level of vitriol towards the swac for not participating in the fcs playoffs has been nothing short of pathetic. With that in mind a level of smugness in the meac presidents finally coming to the conclusion that many on here have held for years is to be expected.

And they joined hands with those other folk across the tracks to diminish anything we did in the SWAC.

It's that attitude which makes MEAC fans hate this game. You guys are proud of getting us out of the playoffs.

The swac doesn't like the playoffs. Nobody disrespects y'all's choice. We do. So we gotta like the white mans ice and all kinda other mess. We can't just have a difference of opinion. It has to be we think the white mans sugar is sweeter.

If this game is true, and it appears that it is, it's appears to be a sad choice for the MEAC. But what's more sad is that our leaders won't ever come out and stand behind their decision and explain why this makes sense to them. Dennis Thomas won't say nothing.

Well. We'll see.

Dude just shut up! :emlaugh: You don't speak for all MEAC fans and though I don't give a hoot about the playoffs, I've always pulled for you dummies. :emlaugh: I don't give two chits about whether you all coming crawling back and bowing down or not. :smh:  :emlaugh:

This is true, considering the fact that we now know that North Dakota State and Illinois State will be competing in the FCS Championship game which is schedule for Jan. 10. Which is 3 weeks from now.

But I think it's safe to say that ESPN called the shots on that move.

Yeah, Southern has always hung our foot up scst and sent them on their merry way with tails between their legs. He probably has been sopping his brains with geechee/gullah press clips. :emlaugh:

Y'all gone make that man delete his account

He should have never came in here talking crap when it was MEAC presidents that made the decision to go in a different direction from the playoffs. MEAC presidents can see that their schools are struggling and they are trying everything to keep their programs alive. It's MEAC fans that are delusional and are acting a fool about this decision. And if MEAC fans keep acting a fool, a few of their presidents might pull a UAB on them.

I've noticed a trend on the board...

Everytime it is even mentioned that an OOC HBCU has dealings with the SWAC in anyway, it seems to always be SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY posters who respond most often and quickest.

Does SU feel threatened by OOC HBCU Competiion. I guess having to deal with Alcorn, JSU, and Grambling is Hell enough for a Sports year .

You do know there's always the option of being an independent FCS program if you think Alcorn can do better than being in the SWAC. But in your case, folks who graduated from Alcorn on this board say you didn't attend or graduate from Alcorn.

They're like the stubborn dude that tried to save that girl that everyone told them was no good but he went ahead and wifed her up anyway. After he sees that she's no good, he all of a sudden wanna come back around and kick it like nothing ever happened

Told you Alum. Wouldn’t take long for the crabs to reveal themselves. Popping up like popcorn.

You must be one of those dead crabs already in the boiler. :emlaugh:

When they are done with you, the only thing left would be this. :emlaugh:

No.

Mark my words. Within 5 years, Tennessee State will be in the SWAC.

The SWAC and/or MEAC will wise up and stop playing them outside of JSU (I don't want any of our schools to lose money and that's one of the biggest HBCU games period) and they are going to be feeling left out if they see the SWAC/MEAC in a bowl game playing in front of 40-45K in Atlanta on ESPN and they can't get a piece of the pie instead of playing in front of 5K at UT-Martin .
