Pres. Boyd with Brian Jenkins

330K?

LMAO.

BJ did get paid. Congrats to him.

I see where ASU is going with this. They have a big new stadium that needs butts in the seat. Hard to get people to come out in late October and November unless you have a dominate team. So they went out and got a winner.

JSU needs to take note. They have the best fan base in HBCU football and went out and hired one of the worst coaches. Brown paper bags coming to Memorial next season.

Congratulations on the hire Alabama State. I'm pretty sure the Hornets fans are very happy & excited!

I do have a question (no smack).....

Is the $330,000 salary correct?

Lioness no details of the contract have been release. Rumors have Jenkins salary at $250k with incentives that could push it to $300k. I have no idea where the $330k figure came from.

I honestly think we'll win the East next year. Cyrus is gone but #7 Khalid Thomas returns along with some other running backs that we redshirted. #10 Demario Bell should have a 1,000yds receiving if he's used right. Our OL has been consistent over the 3-4 seasons and hopefully Jenkins keeps our OL coach. I hope our backup QB Toppings is made the starter this upcoming season, he's clearly better than Duhart. On defense, Ramsey is probably gone so hopefully Jenkins has someone in mind that knows what he's doing. I expect 9-2 next season and to be in the SCG next year to hopefully finish 10-2. I think everyone can agree that we've always had the talent but struggled with the coaching.

Dude have you learned anything from the last two years? I'll answer that one. "No".

5 UAB players have committed to South Alabama 1 Alabama State, 3 To Jacksonville State
, 1 to james madison.....

TP how yall feel about Jenkins going to ASU when yall wanted him at JSU?

1.) I didn't want him but I would have taken him over OMJ.
2.) The fact that he went to Alabama State makes him a non-factor to JSU. Only two HBCUs can beat JSU and those two are Grambling and TNState.

Ummm, was Jenkins the head coach in any of those last 2 years to that you speak of? Please don't come on here acting stupid and think that Mudbone knows what he's doing.

You lie and suck at math.

...and Alabama State, Mississippi Valley, Southern, Prairie View, Alabama A&M. Oh, and that was that time UAPB beat ya'll in the SCG.

Dude.. before last year we were on nice winning streaks with ALL of those schools. Comegy lost to most of those schools in 2009 but he went right back to kicking their azz the next year.

He knew enough not to let Alcorn run him off the Reservation like they did Barlow.
