Texas Southern head football coach Darrell Asberry did not have to look far to find a pair of key replacements for his coaching staff.
Asberry has brought in former Prairie View A&M head coach Heishma Northern to be his defensive coordinator.
Northern's offensive coordinator at Prairie View A&M, Mark Orlando, has also been hired by Asberry.

PV didn't have any athletes on Defense. That wAs the problem. tSU crazy to fire Vite. He didn't have the players he needed.

Man, Vite could not make adjustments until halftime. He made no real time adjustments on defense which is part of the reason we always went into halftime trailing by two or three touchdowns. we would play better defensively in the second half but by then we were in too deep of a hole to climb out.

Hell yeah. I will be glad to have him work with our players. Vite was the real reason we had the DOG DAY D under Pete. Our defense has not been the same since he left.

Re-read what you typed. First you're saying PV didn't have the athletes and then turn around and say Vite didn't have the players he needed. That's contradictory. Vite was at TSU for two years so he had time to recruit his players. Our past two DC's were only at PV one year and had no role in selecting the players for their scheme. So they didn't have the players they needed also.
