Other games - turkey weekend

Bad day for the SEC......SEC East takes it on the chin from the ACC and looks like State is fizzling out with Ole Miss.

Look at the matchups though

Florida (6-4) at #3 Florida State (11-0)

South Carolina (6-5) at #21 Clemson (8-3)

Kentucky (5-6) at #22 Louisville (8-3)

I do give Georgia Tech props for beating Georgia on the road though.

Against the SEC lEast

Exactly if folks look at the matchups. You had the 8th, 10th, and 12th place SEC teams taking on 3 of the top 4 ACC teams. And all 3 of those games were road games for the SEC teams, with Florida and Kentucky taking their opponents down to the wire.

(What are you trying to do? Piss Kendrick off?) :emlaugh:

Re: Marshall versus Western Kentucky

Yall kill me with this logic lol. What is the SEC's record against other P5 conferences the last 5 years? And who has won the most championships in the last 10? GT was the only one with a win worth mentioning, otherwise we're talking about a 6 win South Carolina, a 6 win Florida, and a 5 win Kentucky lol. Sometimes I wonder do some of you even understand sports.

So, the SEC loses four non-conference games TODAY and you wanna evaluate the last five years?

I mean I can see if all 3 matchups were like the Georgia-Georgia Tech matchup. But those ranked ACC teams were all at home against teams barely above .500 and 2 of them were very lucky to leave with wins.

Nope, because when non-SEC fans tried to point out the weak links in the SEC, SEC fans still claimed those "weaker SEC teams" were still better than everybody else. So no, I'm not gonna let you SEC people use that "it's just the SEC East" excuse.

The SEC East is the SEC...and the ACC went 4-0 against the SEC today

How shole they forget.

Co-sign the dude who for weeks predicted Florida would beat Florida State.

Did you not watch the game? You are acting like Florida State blew Florida out. The final score was 24-19 with Florida missing 2 FGs and 2 key dropped passes with one being returned for a pick 6. All of y'all were talking about Florida State was going to blow Florida out and I said all season long that Florida wasn't going to let that happen. I also said how Florida's defense was going to hold Winston in check. I was only wrong about our run game. We didn't seal the deal with a win, but that is also why Muschamp is gone.

Congrats, you just proved that the top ACC teams are barely better than the bottom SEC teams.

You said UF was gonna beat FSU. Just stop.

No you stop. We didn't win, but the team definitely was put in position several times to win the game. I have no problem being wrong about us pulling out the win as long as the team competed and played hard. We lost, but Florida State had to work hard to get that win.
