Jenkins and his Wildcats simply got out coached and outplayed by a struggling, yet scrappy, Hampton team.

It's gonna be interesting to see what Coach Maynor can do at Hampton over the next few seasons.
 



Yeah I watch most of that game, Hampton freshman QB put on a show last night. That loss really hurt BCU, no Meac title or payoff birth this year. Quick question FAM4lyfe The way BCU played last night do you think Famu has a chance to beat them in the Florida classic?

Thats kool we want him at JSU BAD! We need to open up the check book to Jenkins....whatever it takes to make him happy...In the interview we need to just give him a blank check and say name your price...and what do you need to win and walk out...

Jenkins at JSU would set the SWAC on fire...

Jenkins was JSU's No. 1 target last year after firing Comegy. But, for whatever reason it didn't work out. Money wasn't an issue, though.

Yea he played us to get a raise at BCU he still wants a shot at the FBS level..but once that window closes in a year or 2 he will be at JSU..

He would definitely be an upgrade. But Maynor is the better coach in my opinion.

Hampton Freshmen were balling last night. DT from Va Beach and that QB. I like Maynor better than Jenkins.

Well, while Maynard would be a better fit personality wise for JSU, he has not won enough at the D1 level to be even remotely compared to Jenkins.
 
Maynor is really up in your face though!!!!Which is good and bad!!! He's very animated on the sideline.He worse than Jenkins...It can rub folks the wrong way!!!

I happen to like Maynard's personality as a HC. He would fit right in with JSU fan base... LOL He talks schitt as much as we do... but I would think that we have never been on each other's radar.

Jenkins is more of what we want in terms of young, full of energy and he is a proven winner...Maynor fits and we would take him but I wouldnt over Jenkins..

He has done that with everyone. Jenkins ain't going to leave for another HBCU I don't believe until he is SURE that he is not going to get a PWC job somewhere. He wanted SU to wait before we hired Big Worm as he backdoor dealing with BCU and hoping one of those local PWCs hired him. When Broussard said no we can't wait for the interview in person then he pulled out.

Honestly I don't see why he would leave BCU for another HBCU at this point. He is in a talent rich Florida and finally gotten BCU to pay him. He can go to the playoffs if his team wins the conference. Don't see what any other HBCU can offer him? If he is making 285. Are you going to pay 300K for him?
