The pistol will kill Burroughs no defense arse. SU will Quinn his defense to death. Bama state gone blitz chang's offense. sTu is the only winnable game but by then the players will be done with these guys...Old Man talk cash money and now he gone be back in LA real quick. He has not won a SWAC game at home and if he loses the next two what can he say that will save his Job.

It is because they kept old coaches, babied players, and completely F up a decent team...Same thing bell did with Kent but worse. it's worse cause they got paid more money, got commercials, extra smoke and pyro. JSU TV showing all there games live and uploading them...Man these guys been at the Penguin drinking or something but they will be on Football Scoop real soon. knight and McCall too!!!

Pop,

You guys were in better shape after axing Comegy than we were in the Stump/Worm transition, better than Alcorn was Spears/Hobson and Grambling with Doug/Fobbs. If you guys pay out Jackson this season and get a new staff next season ... it'll still mean for your upperclassmen that's the third set of coordinators they'll have. Hopefully, if you guys get rid of Jackson, that it's done quickly so you guys can get someone that can come in and hit the recruiting trail.

Hope yall make a good hire - the few times I have posted, I have said repeatedly that I thought yall made a bad hire. I wasn't talking smack...I could "see" it coming!

Tony Hughes was the guy for the job in my opinion. He would have put together a monster staff, top recruiter in the state, SEC and Mississippi ties and he has coached in big moments such as bowl games but you don't even call the guy. I admit I felt a little better after seeing old Harold hire some younger staffers but after seeing Saturday's play calling, things are suspect.

Quit throwing those out passes so much, SU is going to take that to the house

This is what's funny to me, and this is no smack. If you change the name, let's call this institution "School X". If I was to tell you that School X would have a team that has appeared in the conference championship game 4 times in an 8 year span, and the past 2 years back-to-back, you would consider that a success right? Now let's say that School X fires that coach that has brought all of that success. Not only do they fire that coach, but they hire a guy with no track record that would lead you to believe he will be successful, and names a GRADUATE ASSISTANT the offensive coordinator. To top this off, they pay waaaaaay more for this unproven head coach.

Honestly, what would you all say about School X??? Let's be real and stop spinning and lying.

Then you brag about paying him almost 70K more than the proven coach with a winning record.

Threads got locked because they did so much spinning. You could be talking about PV's new stadium or someone transferring to Valley and here comes all that "best coaching staff in the SWAC" spinning.

Some have said if you wanted to fire him, you had the right to do so. You just don't do it unless you got a no doubt plan b (a Brian Jenkins type or someone on that level). Now, just like the president, AD and alums behind the homeboy hookup hire, you still got some that won't admit that this was a bad hire

Here is what's ironic:

With all the talk of firing Jackson and the romanticism about Comegy, JSU can still win the SWAC East. They're one game behind Bama State for second and two behind Alcorn State for first with games coming up against those schools down the stretch.

It might be unlikely, but it's possible...in the SWAC.

Look, here's the dealy yo! Jackson is gone. End of story. Comegy is gone. Good riddance. Have a happy life in the Valley. The powers that be have opened their eyes and see that that "we want THIS guy" crap is stupid. And now a "real" national search will be performed for a good coach with good qualities. We will right this ship once and for all.
