They didn't have a strength. Cyrus looked slow and weak, Duhart couldn't hit the stands with a pass, OL was holding to stop Duhart from getting killed, BAMA just looked weak.

They were who we thought they were. "A Barlow coached team."

yeah but that was ALL one on one and that dude was MUCH bigger than Cyrus. Cyrus needed a hole.. that's why they ran him the other direction the next time.

We shole did. But don't get too beside yourself. ASU is still better than the other SWAC teams. If Alcorn plays like that all year long, I don't see them losing to any SWAC school. And definitely not to your own school (but then again, judging by your recent posting, Alcorn is now your team)

JSU is a work in progress but we have PV, Valley, SU and AAMU next sooooooo.. we got time to gel and start blowing teams out before we have that showdown in Montgomery!

New team? LOL!!!!!! Alcorn ain't shit. I just like to see good football. And by "SWAC" standards, they're playing good football. But don't get it confused,we coming for dey asses like everyone else on our schedule.

TP, now you know you was not talking like that about your school at the beginning of the year. The way you and some of your comrades (not everyone) were talking, it was as if JSU had the SWAC Championship in the bank....

What makes you so sure you guys can get past the teams mentioned about?

uuum, becasue we are better than ALL of those teams. We should be 4-1 right now. Is JSU performing up to par? nah, just like everyone else with new staffs and coordinators, we are having growing pains but we have a GOOD coaching staff that works on specific things every week. We just need that break out game. In other words, we need a game like we had against Grambling minus the 5 turnovers... :lol: If we get that, we will beat the next 4 opponents by 3 TDs.

..and we ALSO have good talent. You about to see what Ivy can do. Before last week, he only wanted to be pocket passer. Last week, the coaches told him to run more.. he did and won us the game with his feet. If that dude become more of a dual threat.. I want ALCORN! :lol:

97, who do these simpletons take us for? All these sorry teams (ex. sU, BAMA St, Tx South, et ....) have reached their peaks. They have nothing left but what you see. And what you see is a sorry team with 1 or 2 playmakers on the whole team. They just don't understand that our team is stacked. We went undefeated (till the Alcorn game) in SWAC play last season. When our coaching catches up with our talent, it's gonna be hell to pay.
