See SU is GOOD for doing this schitt. They act all "friendly" when the odds are stacked against them. They even get GSU folks on their side but as SOON as they get a chance, the true snakes that they are show up.. and talk bad about GSU, Alcorn, etc.. And nothing friendly about a RIVALRY. :smh:

WE are our own problem as HBCU's...and a black race....Hate Is killing us.....its fun to clown and joke about a rival football game....but some people on here go past that and put down the Institution as a whole...we all come from the same mud and should respect each HBCU and not try to down talk one institution to make ours seem better...my HBCU is Your HBCU

Alcorn's Hendricks Taylor said playing against Southern has always been a special occasion because of his affinity for the Jaguars growing up 20 miles away in Clinton. The game has also served as an outlet for family members to attend in droves whether the game’s been in Lorman or Baton Rouge.

TP you don't understand this rivalry. Alcorn has alot of BR kids in their band, baseball and football team. Ive known several football/ baseball players that SU didn't recruit for whatever reason that goes on to shin at Alcorn. Chris Peters, Charlie Spiller(Pete didn't want him :smh: . He'll he didn't want James Vernon either. All he talked about was Overstreet who ended up being a bust). You have BR kids today that's in Alcorn band sending messages on IG to SU's band directors, saying its a honor to be facing the band they grew up watching and admiring and always wanted to be in.
