Man why is it that you think that you are the only one that wants the team to win & etc?! As folka said, aint none of us playing a down on Saturday. Since you know so much why are you not on any committee's, pay any dues, or yet alone coaching anywhere?!.........

Ok let me simplify...JSU = SU = GSU = TXSU = PV = AAMU = ASU = Valley. Where is this fighting spirit for SU we have for JSU? You do realize Alcorn owns SU right?

In your mind, do we as fanbase treat JSU and SU the same way?

OK, I do not agree with everything BH123 says, but he is a fan of Alcorn in spite of his twisted views. In that respect, I feel he does have a right to voice his opinion (some are pretty outlandish).

I'm looking forward to a great football game, great food, and a great atmosphere. I'm driving up from Miami so if there is any specific Alcorn festivities or tents I should visit please let me know.

But that has nothing to do with the fact that SU is scared to smack ya'll and ya'll falling for it. In fact, you are glad about it. They won't beat you but TRUST ME, if they do.. they gonna laugh at ya'll, SMACK ya'll, talk about how their fans took over your campus, talk about how sorry your band is, etc... See SU is GOOD for doing this schitt. They act all "friendly" when the odds are stacked against them. They even get GSU folks on their side but as SOON as they get a chance, the true snakes that they are show up.. and talk bad about GSU, Alcorn, etc.. And nothing friendly about a RIVALRY. :smh:

We know what SU thinks bruh, the thing is it isn't of our concern. Their opinion of us doesn't matter to us...it isn't important. Like I said earlier we don't really think of SU all that much either. The fact is, the game makes a compelling and beautiful environment. It just meshes very well for some reason. People who've attended the game know the atmosphere the two schools create when we play. Best believe we compete hard & want to win. The record against each other shows that, but after its over...its over. That's for both teams/fans and we enjoy the rest of the day/atmosphere & move on to the next.

TP, my daughter attends Southern and yes they are talking plenty of noise (probably because they know her brother plays for Alcorn etc.), but there talking will not affect the outcome of the game. It does help build the anticipation for the game.
