Southern No Compliance Control

And I hope they kick ALL their sports out. Shut that place down. It's a disgrace to have that place open and ran the way it's ran. A disservice to ALL HBCUS.

More dumb schitt. Dude, go drink you some muscle milk.

You gone learn that even if Vivian was there, they would not let her have the power she has at JSU. It ain't Broussard. It's his damn bosses. Dude aint over his head. His bosses are.

Say JR, you seems to be the "ONLY" person with some sense of what's going on. Is it fair to say that you alls situation is the same as BAMA St's? Where your own people are turning against each other and setting up each other for failure? Would this be considered "lack of institutional control"?

Those days are dead and gone. In the words of famous Port Gibson DJ Jay Lang, "Get Your Mind Right or Get Your Ass Left". The SWAC is a 10-Member conference.

Alcorn hasn't won one SCG, STFU until that happens. Sheesh. Who in the hell are you Mrs. Cleo?

Why should the Advocate be ashamed they cover Southern on all fronts good or bad and this story is from a news station...this player is talking because he might be a transfer who is ineligible not because of his grades but because of classes that were accepted/not accepted...SMH!

Redding is not a transfer

Lol. Y'all are clueless as SU administration. Broussard can't even fire his assist AD who does nothing.

No I am not going to learn anything I already knew...which is why you people should not have stood for him being hired in the first place when you knew he was not qualified and would be a puppet of your administration!

High road.

But yea...you are clueless. Seriously. :snicker:

Now folks blaming the media?! :retard:

I see a trend developing after winning the SCG. TXSU, Grambling, UAPB and now Southern all go in the opposite direction after winning the championship. Interesting.
Back in June/July, Odums was speaking at the SU-Dallas Alum Chapter meeting. He mentioned how for the past 4 yrs each SWAC football champ has tanked the following season and he wanted to end that trend. Unfortunately, it looks like SU is about to continue the trend. The bad part about is, it won't be because of coaching and lack of talented players. This is directly on the administration......which includes all employes in the athletic department, the registrar, the chancellor, the president, and the board of supervisors. Even if the AD is not competent or strong enough to handle the situation, the board, prez, and chancellor should have enough power to make moves to get this under control, even if it means hiring an outsider to come in and fix this sh...crap. Because right now, it looks like someone does not care or has a hidden agenda to allow this to continue in the public eye. It amazes me how the board hasn't made a statement.

IMO, if this isn't fixed soon, it will take SU down for a good number of years. Who will SU recruit and say "you might play if WE get YOUR papers right........each week". The current players had faith in their coach and stayed but I wouldn't be surprised if some student/athletes leave at the end of the semester.

The bad part about that is anyone that was hired was going to be a puppet. That is 1 of the problem's at SU.

I wouldn't either J94, they should. They should leave like some of those other athletes that left.

wow... if Broussard doesnt get rid of the compliance director his head will be on a platter soon.A Compliance Director missing paper work or not filling in data correctly is bad because that essentially is their job like pops33 said we had Ringo at JSU she was horrible things got better when she got fired...But this situation is no different than a head coach who has bad coordinators. No one understands nor want to understand the inner workings on things they just want to see results. :read:

I expect to see the four players who were declared ineligible last week play against us Saturday... :read:

"you only won cuz we didn't have our players" - Bighead

LOL

get ready for it cornballs..

Lol aint no sense of me even trying to lie and say I won't have it ready....

The compliance director is brand new and is the one who is weeding out the bad. He got there in Late July/August and reports directly to the Chancellor, not the AD. LOLSMH

The folks in the registrar's office are to blame because of the lack of good records.
