One of my old teammates that comegy demoted for taking a summer internship back in 06 is at the game. Dude is so happy to see him lose.
 



Valley folks really shouldn't take this too hard. Illinois State competes in the toughest conference in the FCS. The Missouri Valley always has about 3 teams that are ranked in the top 25 FCS Poll. This conferences also has one of the best,(if not the best) record vs FBS teams in the past 3 years.

STILL, you should be able to put up some points against your FCS opponents. Hell, we scored against Tulane last year and they were a good team last year and they are FBS.
 
Anyone with good sense can understand why Comegy played all his QB's. A good coach plays his players to see who will respond. He knew it was no way they would win this game. So he basically made it a game to see who would step up and respond. Name he has real game experience and film to put his starter in place for SWAC play. Funny how JSU played a practice squad team, but judges everyone else.
