Week 2 - Other Football Games

This, ie SU vs ULL

Yes, I understood what they were doing with those two pass interference calls and one no call pass interference on S.U. offensive. You can pull that stuff on people that don't know what they're looking at but I understood clearly what they were doing.

A quick observation: While observing this Nebraska/McNeese game, I've noticed the objective/fair game being called by the officials. What irks me a little and I don't understand is why when some of our teams play these games, the officials make these bail out calls that change the complection of the game against teams that suppose to be far superior.

Which is why I won't be going to any more of those games, unless they have a SWAC crew call the games, as much as I love to visit Lafayette.

Re: Mc Needs almost beat Nebraska

SCST caught Clemson at a real bad time..........The week after they were embarassed by Georgia.....

That's exactly what I said  they pulled the 1st string out in the 3rd Quarter (35-0)

Hell, we don't want a swac crew calling our games....why do you thin they would...

Florida 27

EMU 0

While I love the fact Florida is actually scoring some points, I realize that this is against probably one of the worst FBS programs. I will get a better gauge next week against an improved Kentucky team.

Half
Liberty 10
Norfolk St 0

Final
Howard 25
Rutgers 38

Morgan State 26
Holy Cross 29

That Howard game was not as close as it looks. 31-7 was the score at halftime and Rutgers lead 38-13 going into the 4th.

The Pac-12 will give the SEC a run for its money for the best conference this year. I think it will happen for the next few years.

While Vandy maybe back to being Vandy, Ole Miss is not the semi-guaranteed win that it use to be.

USC just recovered a fumble late in the game. It was Stanford's game to win, but the Trojans showed a lot of heart today.

USC 13
Stanford 10
Final

You talking about a SEC, especially LSU and Bama, hurt by the NFL draft ? The SEC still dominate in recruiting, so the future is still bright for them

The future is bright for the SEC, and yes, they will do well in recruiting. However, I would not close the door on the Pac-12. USC may soon be back to where it was a few years ago.
