I have a REAL problem with our people and it is because of the type of things that were said in this thread....
"Broke Ass FAMU" and any other statement like this is shameful....All OUR HBCUs have their financial challenges and this in-fighting and putting each-other down is really ignorant and on top of that stupid....
In-Fighting is one of the major reason we are behind and stay behind. Not realizing that we are all in this boat together and are all fighting the same battles is very small minded and I just wish we could realize that we could all do a lot better if we focused on real issues like how can we help each other rather than all be crabs in a bucket, in-fighting and pulling each other down.
Hell we at SU, JSU, FAMU, hell pick one...really have no room now a day to point the finger at any other one of our HBCUs about their shortcomings, because we all have our own starring us right back in that mirror....
You can take my comments however you wish....Corny....Preachy....lame....whatever....doesn't bother me cause I know anyone with any sense of intelligence will know deep down inside I am speaking real shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

The truth is, FAMU's Band is good, but they are not the best among HBCU's. Each band have its own style, they are one of the best at their style of play / performance. JSU, is the best at what they do as well as TSU, SU, GRAM and others.
If FAMU, fail to show up, I am sure they will not be missed, dog-gone there will be five or six high schools bands playing and performing.
Perhaps, FAMU will send some of their high school band members, to perform at halftime.
