Prairie View loss means?

And that's exactly how we were down to the early last season. They can't match up with our WR's lol. But we will be able to run on them also lol.

Your wide receivers have no one to get them the ball like Dray did. You will not outscore PV no matter how much you try and PV don't lose at their stadium too often. I'd be shocked if they lost to su at home.

Which frosh?

She is talking about Austin Howard who BTW is from Dray's hometown and High School. Pretty much replaced Dray when he left. He is a TRUE Freshman. Shorts is a Redshirt Freshman and was our number 2 QB on the depth chart last year. Austin threw for 181 yards on ULL splitting time on Saturday and was poised. He played in the first half some and then all of the second half. Dude is like Dray on being accurate. Shorts is more of an athlete playing QB and has to settle down and make better decisions. But I am sure he feels the pressure of Howard breathing down his neck. It was close in preseason camp. Some kids just got that natural ability to step in young.

Looks like Austin is a better game time QB... that's how Jimmy Oliver was.

JR, Shorts is a mistake.. im just saying. Play him and you struggle to win 6 games.

Oh, ok. As the old saying goes, if you have two QB's you don't have one. But I do recall folks telling yall this but yall called it hate. Now seems that you're seeing what we saw three months ago.

Go watch SU game on Espn3 so you can see how foolish you sound.

I'm not ready to put some of those "anointing" oils on anyone in the conference after Week 1. Things will begin taking shape at the end of September.

I agree... but unless you all solve your QB situation... the EAST gonna beat all kinds of azz this year!

Dude, you guys were so fixated on Shorts and we let yall run with it. We actually have two True Freshmen Qbs that we were high on. Shorts had a year in the system so naturally he was the front runner. Now the rubber meets the road and may the best man win. I guess Saban is in the same boat as we are and same for Les Miles.

TP, the thing about the Shorts/Howard deal is there are plenty of skill guys we can lean on offensively. Nobody's expecting Shorts/Howard to be Dray Joseph 2.0 right off the bat, but after watching the UL-Lafayette game, Howard looks to have greater command of the offense.

I won't go that far with you talking about the East ... every team on the East side has question marks. In fact, at this point ... all 10 teams have question marks. Like I said, we should get a better handle on things at the end of September.

The problem is right now, everybody's not getting an apples-to-apples comparison...either we're playing up or playing down in nonconference. I'd rather wait til the end of the month when we see how teams stack up against one another.

That aint what you been saying!

I just don't want the skinny dude to get all broke up an injured.

Actually Jagtillidie has been touting Austin Howard for months to SU folks. Just because you clowns ran off with the Shorts thing, we let you. You got fixated with him from a picture in 2013 and ran with it. Big Worm told folks all spring and summer there was competition at Qb. Instead of you guys just looking at the pics in the Advocate, had you read what was being said by the coaches, you would have known about Howard. LOL.

JR,

They are fixated on SU, period. They're really scared, and rightly so!

You are right C-Leb.

The problem with his assertion though is PV loss means that the S.U. game looms large in their fate in the west. You really can't discuss the meaning of the pv loss when both teams were the pre-season favorite and righting the ship points squarely on how they will fair against S.U.

I don't want to watch no c**n ball chuck and duck b.s........not looking to get in a passing shoot out with p.v. You beat pv by consuming the clock and running the ball down their country throats.

what's wrong with country?

As I said before, it's hard to gauge what this means: either PV's defense hasn't improved at all or TSU won't be a push over this season.

We won't really find out on TSU's part for a few weeks when they play AAMU (which by that time AAMU could be 0-3 after UAB spanks them and could be mentally checked out or hope that by that time the players have some grasp of the Pistol by that time).
