smfh Don't kick anymore field goals. But it should have been a TD. Sam dropped the ball at the 5 with no defenders around him.
 
:smh:...See, it's not about having some damn nutritionist, etc. It simply MENTALITY and WILL. It's that simple. A squat rack, bench press, etc. is the same at FBS, FCS, etc.
 



We knew we will not get any calls. I think Howard may be our best chance at QB. V has been telling us that.
Defense has played well against the run and as much as they have been on the field. We had some chances early. Now it will about making it respectable and getting our players some reps. We ain't playing scared that is for sure.

I think Shorts may have some comp...He looked a bit 'uncertain' but the Howard kid looked the 'part'...

We shall see.. I like both QBs though...I'll give Howard Round 1 on this one....
 
I like what Odums is/has done with Howard, gave the kid some exposure against the 1st team and left him in the game...I think Shorts will be the starter, but to keep/give Howard and chance to let the kid know his hard work in camp wasn't for nothing...I think we will be fine with Shorts at the QB position...it didn't make sense to play Shorts that long...I think Odums wanted to also show how deep we are at QB...both are FRs and that's scary....but I'm looking for to see Shorts next Saturday for the home opener..as well as Howard

Odums played a lot of FRs and underclassmen....even Baker got a catch which was good
 
D line pressured. O line held up nicely. Bracken had some nice runs. Howard and Quinn had nice chemistry. Not horrible considering the opponent.

Howard is by far the best passer. Shorts is the bigger run threat.
 
And we got some good hits on Broadway and forced 2 turnovers. Also glad we held onto the ball too. We didn't have any stupid penalties other than those horrible p i calls.
